Africa Outdoor Grow 2016/2017

well i,m running few cannabiogen durban..... i plan to run past you for a look , in about 8 weeks at a guess . about 2 weeks in full flower atm

they taking there time could be a lot longer

Looking fwd to seeing those! What do they say is their finishing time?

The time I know I smoked true DP was from a friends father .. it was really nice. Light green and frosty with spearminty kind of fruity flavour. That old man back then told us that it was really rare to have a pur DP and he pretty much treated it like gold. That was over 20 years ago.. It was the only shit he hid from us hahaha. I remember in an old cannabis grow book a massive DP plant in it. But with anything in a little rolled pencil for 5 bucks is now DP.. lol

got shitty pic other day ,

could be a month from pistils , i,m thinking . man i don,t worry about flower time . there was a faster flowering one too . ended up same with the males a faster flowering one and one weeks behind the other . so made f2 with both a faster one and the late ones separately

if there any good worth a chance to make seed . keep in mind these were no veg time . put in flower season . i put lots things in late to have look at them .

Looks about right as far as structure, from what I'd guess.. given Durban Poison is a sativa. Are you getting any smells off her ? I'd love someone to be able to twist my arm into growing one  lol .. very keen to see what she does for you man!!

you guys know what your talking about .......so we,ll see hay .

no smell so far , lots nice really pure white pistils . don,t worry ill update .

pulling one fully seeded with f2 and crossed to cherry chem . but the one in the pic looks nicer imo . so did a branch of her also ....... f2 and also killer malawi/black pollen .

The cherry chem sounds interesting.. so you crossed your Durban f2 back to this^in the pic^? And malawi black ? What's behind that?

nope made f2 seed on one branch and on another branch hit it with killer malawi x black lime reserve . its a proven cross for us we grow . :tiphat:

Interesting .. ciskei which was below the transkei .. they are split by the kei river in the eastern Cape province.. is home to a land race more known for its transkei. I'm betting they must be pretty similar.. got any pics?

this is exactly what i was trying to say on another thread, theres no doubt in my mind they are related, if not the same plant re-branded .
Bushmans,Ciskei,Pondo Mystic they all Transkei in my eyes.
Most south africans have smoked their fair share of Transkei

It has to be the same!! I was talking about it with a friend the other day how these strains are coming out in the states and Europe and here we are like how.. why.. We've never heard of Ciskei until it's released in a seed bank. Transkei.. yes.. would i grow it? Hell fucking no! Pondo either .. On top of the fact that it's known the old Rooibaard Swazi was was given to farmers in the transkei many years ago too. So I wonder man. Not knocking no one's seed choice .. I'm just trying to understand it too

In my opinion the region is too small to have developed completely different landraces,I think your onto something aswell with the possible connection to Swazi. But who knows.my other issue is the rebranding by seed retailers and I'm pretty sure it's not isolated to just this particular strain. People get tired of Skunk let's say so I rename it to Magic Ganja and sell it at double the prize.
My last point before I bow out on the topic is that the reason why I wouldn't grow it or most SA strains is not that it's a bad strain or anything it's just that I was smoking Transkei, Swazi etc my entire youth, boring.
Gimme Indica's ! :D

Yeah the regions are in too close a proximity for there to be a difference is my thinking too.
I mean I maybe get the seed novelty where someone might get some bag seed from some village and goes home with a story about the best weed they ever smoked... but it just seemed.like that cos they ain't found nothing to smoke for a week and when they do they get out their heads cos it's been a while.. and you're in a foreign place so it feels magic and spiritual lol.. And yeah gimme the indica and hybrids any day too..
