Thank you very much for the well wishes regarding my current situation (much appreciated) Speaking of such, I took a few more kicks in the nutz recently, laptop died, lost my home, got a case of powdery mildew, and am currently staying in a motel. I have added a blower fan under the canopy, trimmed some fan leaves to increase airflow, and it seems to be working. The aero machine has been relocated to a good bro's house but it's hard to visit it daily anymore due to working my ass off to get back on track.

Dude, my thoughts are with you - :grouphug:

You have the skilz and 'tude to survive - Live long and prosper, Aerohead! :respect:

Finally got some pics to show! I figure they have around 4 weeks left, they are filling in nicely. I'm impressed the lack of daily attention has only resulted in a few burnt leaf tips and the mildew is all but gone. The resin production is outstanding, can't wait to see the filal results.

Here is a pic to show how close the canopy is to the PL-L's, even the overdriven one! It's a really good thing the stretch stopped just before I had to relocate the grow to somewhere I can't care for it as often. It's new location is also much colder and has slowed growth a little.

Hey Aerohead, Ive been lurking around for a few days and decided I needed to register here. I have been blown away by this thread. Blown away. Those PL-L's are definitely the way to go in a micro grow! And that micro fog setup! This is amazing work here.
The aero and fog setup's are a little advanced for me rite now, nevertheless you have inspired me to give it a shot. DWC in a tall-modified mid-tower, PL-L's!, full mylar, micro carbon filter, dual 80mm exhaust.... I can see it now :D

Thanks for the inspiration and hopefully Ill be able to start my project very very soon.
Cant wait to see how this one turns out! Keep your head up. Peace

I hereby nominate this for thread of the year! lol, jus kiddin. I do seriously think its one of the best though. So much info and attention to detail. Looks so profesional. I jus love it. Someone needs to start mass producing these for a reasonable price. I'd deff purchase one. I guess ima have ta start gathering parts for a d.i.y.

Afraid I have some more bad news, Visited the grow yesterday and I have lost the fight with the powdery mildew, it boomed and has taken 60% of the crop. I believe the only thing I can do is pull the grow before there is nothing left to smoke.

I believe it's the strain as Humidity has been below 40% the entire time. I also pruned any leaves that were possibly blocking air circulation, and increased the air flow to tornado like conditions, all to no avail.
I lost the mother plant to PM a few weeks ago, she was in the same cab as several other mums and none of them were affected by PM. This HB pheno just has no mold resistance.

Anyway, I'll try to borrow a camera to get pics of the disaster and enjoy some of the buds that didn't get PM
Beaten but not broken, I'll be back for another run when I get back on my feet.

Next run will be afgooey like it should have been this time :wallbash:

mate that sucks - if the mum was the only one in the cab with PM then it must be the genetics as you say.

good luck for the next one
