Evening after reading through the past 33 pages I realized I loved the idea behind this and after getting set up and running I want to switch over once my set of clones root. One thing though what Nutes are you running with that nebulizer? Is that a nutramist nebulizer?
Thanks for any info.

Thanks for reading the thread!! Yes I am using a Nutramist sonic fogger..The nutes are GH 3 part mixed at 1/4 strength. I will be stepping the nutes up slowly to figure out what the ideal mix is for these ladies and the fog.

Here is how the HB ladies are doing with another spooky root pic:

LOL, I'm sure Kizzattack will be loving root porn in no time, I plan to take lots of root pics because of the new sump.

Thanks for the inspirational words Kizzattack, much appreciated!!

looking great, did you add something under the hydroton?

Yes, the clones came in rapid rooted plugs, I couldn't get the roots out so I had to cut the bottoms out of the baskets. So far they don't seem to be hurting anything..

Evening Areo,
How much does your res hold?
Do you think that having the nebulizer in the root chamber with no cooling other then the fan pushing air in to create the positive pressure would create to much heat?
Reason I ask is I am debating using a 1 gallon mini-tote that I wanted to use.
My end product would be a fogger/Swc hybrid once the roots reach the water level that is.

What does this mean gentlemen?

Looking fantastic Aero, plants and set-up. I think you could do surgery in there it's so clean!

This is something Cork144 brought up a little earlier in the thread. He has started a thread regarding this subject Here Check it out it's very interesting..

My res holds 3 gallons and the fogger does create enough heat to need the radiator so I don't think it would work out in a 1 gallon tote. The fogger also needs to be kept away from the roots or it will turn them into mist too. The fan creating positive pressure doesn't push much air at all and wouldn't be much for cooling. You could pull it off if you had the fogger in another tote and blew the fog into the SWC setup, this is the way most fogger systems are set up..

Here is some more pics of the ladies and the roots, the growth is impressive so far:

Thanks for taking the time to reply, I pretty much figured that and have tossed around the idea of making my own nutramist

Coming along and the other one has caught up. Nice.

Looks like the impeller issue was a very significant one. Now that it's fixed, all appears to be going along rather well!

On the heat issue arising out of the mister in the water, are you using any Pelletier styled cooling? I assume that would assist you greatly in controlling temps in the fogger unit. Parts for making Pelletier coolers are available on eBay for pretty cheap. Not terribly practical for cooling a large area, but... you don't need to cool a large area :)
