very very nice thread, im glad im on board for this one. and evn tho s/he may b biased the results will speak for themselves, so far it looks evn 2 me. the thing thats got me bout AN is that they break down their products n2 different products like u cant get both fumic acid with *blank* u have 2 purchase it seperately, unlike with botanicare. but it will be very interestin 2 watch, sounds like u got things very evnly done.
great to see pics of your garden, that looks like pretty good conditions for a side by side. so far the advanced looks a bit more covered in trichomes then the pro series side, although the pro series pic has the bigger buds so far. end yield comparison will be interesting.
i disagree they look just the same with the trichs. judging by a side by side of the second pbp pic and the second AN pic. u may b rite on the size tho, but its definitely close. also the reason u mite think that is kuz the lighting conditions werent the same...for future pics i think they should both be taken outta the room, if u can
@Gaius - thanx bro glad to hear that from you. honestly i think its gonna come down to a blind taste test, if i dont make it to the 420 cup this year i'll try my damnest to send some to pink for your judging.
@Mr.Niceguy - yes i totally agree with you its the lighting conditions, i recently acquired this digital camera and still figuring out, the damn salesmen was going on and on about this digital macro, so i'm still working out the kinks of the camera, till then
maybe i can help u on ur macro issue, if u give me the make and model of ur cam i can probably look up the closest macro distance, or u could urself at www.dpreview.com anyway the closest macro distance means how close u can get 2 ur plants without blurring the pics n macro mode. like ideally a macro of 1cm or less is best. 4cm is bout as high as u wanna go,
Yes more pics comming very soon, unfourtnetly my digital camera got stolen and i have to go out and get a new one, you know what tho it just gives me the incentive to go buy that new canon eos D10 at about 6 grand. sigh, but yes more pics comming this weekend
Hi All !! Nice comparison of both fert lines......Here's the one I tried lately Super Veg A/B, Maxicrop liquid seaweed, Cal mag+, Pot of Gold, Sugar Daddy, Blast Off, & Sucanat (Sugar cane natural) instead of molasses for Rockwool cubes less of a sticky mess....in the cubes.........
....this above mix is for veg cycle....
Super Bloom A/B, Maxicrop liquid seaweed, Cal mag+, Pot of Gold, Sugar Daddy,
Big Bud, Blast Off, & Sucanat this is for the flower cycle.......
The Maxicrop, Blast Off, and Sucanat is applied once a week in the regular fert mix.....the regular mix is applied once daily, the Maxicrop is for the iimmune system of the plant (mold/cold/heat/stress etc..) and Blast Off for vitimins & minerals etc & Sucanat is the food for microbes etc.. Since using Maxicrop, I have not had any mold problems in Rockwool for over a year now...knock on wood...I had a hard time finding a measure
spoon small enough for 1/2 gram etc...etc...so I got this 3 spoon set at Wally
Mart ( A Dash, A Pinch, & A Smidgen ), so the Big Bud says 1/2 gram per litre
of water and 1 tsp=7 grams, so that's 14--- 1/2 grams in 1 tsp, and the smidgen is just the right amount @ 1/2 gram.... here's the veg baby
with this mix.......
the Grapefruit X Haze in the middle grown in fert mix from cutting to flowering
Peace!
@Jojo - you know man i cant really decide right now, i meen i would love to but i just cant, its gonna be the 11th hour when i decide. if i was to say anything i would have to say the aroma comming from the PRO series side is amazing. but the ADVANCED side has amazing flowers, almost like glitter was thrown on them.
@DrLongBottom - thats what your here for man, you need to slap me back into reality when i go crazy like that.
@kush - ya mate i think some1 lifted it from me cause i cant find it anywhere, but maybe i just misplaced it and its in my car or something, who knows.
@budzad - hey man, great to see other ppl trying the find that best recipe that works for HIM\HER. i'v used that sucanak b4, its almost like an organic brown sugar right? how much of it did you use in a gal of h2o, and did you notice that you had to use warm water to get it to dissolve better???
