Hi Holeshot,

I'm very impressed with all the different strains that you have harvested in just a few weeks! Amazing stash you are getting for the upcoming months :D

The Purple Haze Malawi and the last Zamal Hash are perfectly done, lovely close ups pics! And i'm also very glad that you rate so highly Panama and Zamaldelica.
Can't wait to see what your garden brings next ;)

Very much appreciated Dubi. All the Ace strains so far grown from seed have been very impressive.. I have 3 mixed fems to harvest next and a few more Bangi clones . I just put Old killer X PCK and Black Domina X Erdpurt in the room aswell.

Yes , I had you in mind my friend. You and I will be the only ones trying this pollen. Looks like a very nice plant. Punta Rojo X Zamaldelica and Queen Mother sounds good.

Wow I dont think that rain water tank is going to be big enough to hide her come flowering.
She seems to like the powdered nutes.

She is a beast. Feeding low concentrations of nutes this time around, to see if it helps with the Hermi issue.

Ah, this rings a bell. My panama clone in coco has shot about 10 nanners (that I can see), mainly one on each top, while her sister in DWC is fine. On a whim I measured runoff from the coco and it came to a whopping 2600 ppm. That explains her dark green leaves and very dense, fuzzy buds, and the nanners. I really don't want to kill her off as she's flowering more densely than her sis. I've reduced the feed going in to 550ppm until the coco is leeched a bit more. Anyhoo, thanks for the tip, explains a lot.

Queen Mother

Queen Mother

Hi All, hope everybody is having a happy holiday time. This is Queen Mother . She went about 13 weeks almost ready to chop. She started flowering outdoors , then I brought her inside for the last 6 weeks. She had a bad catapillar attack at one stage so never really grew to her potential . Very nice sweet floral scent, not overly resinous . But I read that these arnt her special features!! It's the clean positive high. So we will soon see how she compares to Ace Panama , which is my go to plant for a great day.

Yo Holeshot, have a question, what do you think works best for QM, to top her, FIM her, or nothing? If yes at which node?
And how much does she stretch?

Here she is in the middle :)

Hey BB. I just topped the clone at 4th node. By memory this girl was topped late, and the stretch was moderate.Once inside I trimmed up all buds that weren't getting as much light, that helped get some size on the tops. I bent the tops over to get under the light.Id recommend topping as early as possible to get 2-4 strong main branches.

Thank you very much! :) So, should I top her now at the 5th or at the 4th node? Could I use the top for cloning? I planned also to make some clones of the lower branches in case it's a she, it's reg seed so we will see :)

Once the plant(any plant) is strong enough it can be topped. Yours looks plenty health and of good size to top. In my opinion the best clone % chance is always the first top you cut. I have took 100+ clones and I'd say the first top cut node is always the strongest.

To your earlier question about single cola, fimming, lsting and scrogging. I have yet to see a plant that can't do it all. It just requires more vegging time.

Thanks all.!!! She was a very easy plant to grow. I will be doing the next couple of clones , indoors under the 600s. They should yeild nicely with more dense bud structure. She also purples up at the end. So I might try flowering one outdoors during winter, to see how dark she will get.As for the topping!! For indoors , top as soon as possible . Outdoors I usually let it go 6-7 node. Depending on strain and stretch . Just gives them a nice thick stem and you are able to trim it up , so to keep it clean and tidy around base.So I'm very eager to try the old Qeen Mother out.
