No problem DWD. As much fun as we've had joking around in this thread....I'm not going to personalize any insults to my photography skills. I know my pics usually suck, but I do the best I can with what I have. Sorry if it's difficult to see or figure out.I'm just having fun with you, OT; I'll take a saggy branched, disorienting mass of buds any day over one I can easily figure out.
Thank you!So far....this has been the most enjoyable part of growing. Just watching them swell/fill out. The other day I was sitting on a bucket in the middle of my vertical grow (cleaning up) and took a minute to just look around. Man I was surrounded by these large sativa buds that were STILL swelling. Everywhere I looked were resinous buds calling out to me..."Old Toker .....this Bud's for you".Absolutely no effect on quality to grow sideways or upside down, sounds also like things are right where they're supposed to be. It's swell and stink time.
Interestingly...I'm doing less "work" on the girls now, than I've done through most of the rest of the grow. Not much to do....except watch them and feed them. And the feed process is automated. So basically check the Ph/TDS and change out the rez every 10 days or so. Oh yah....I have to spend 5 minutes vacuuming out their pans before lights out.
I'd have to either buy RO water from a store....or purchase an RO unit for my home (not) ..so probably just going to flush with my tap (134tds - .3ec) water. I could add Blackstrap molasses to my tap water though. Do you think that will do any good? When it's time to stop feeding, you could go with RO water and a good organic blackstrap molasses for 10 days/couple weeks. It's got all the CalMag coco plants like/need, plus the sugars, Iron and some other trace elements. 1/2 tsp-1 tsp per gal should do it.
I do have a question for anyone: How often do you water you plants in coco during the "flush" period? As many times as you are feeding them before the flush? Does it even matter whether the coco gets drier (not completely dried) during the flush? Actually more than a single question....but who's counting?
