Thanks to you @zapok for sharing with us your growing experience and smoke report on this new A5 Haze hybrid 🥰 Happy to hear you have enjoyed with the grow and that finished product is of your taste, with a well deserved, generous final yield. First 2 pics certainly look more A5 Haze dom, while third one looks almost like straight Honduras (purple Colombian) mother.

A5 Haze dark, liver, hashy incensey leathery terps were indeed more present in 90s Dutch Haze hybrids such as original Nevil's Haze release and some old Kali Mist phenos. But as you correctly pointed out, over time the selections shifted toward more C5 leaning profiles like Lemon Haze, Jack Herer, and Super Silver Haze, to the point where A5 Haze terps and effects were nearly lost this century.

That’s why I believe the work we've been doing with A5 Haze hybrids in recent years is so important (huge thanks to Yo Sammy and Karma for sourcing and preserving the original A5 clone). Growers now finally have access to several straight A5 Haze hybrids, most importantly, crossed with unrelated, high-quality sativas to offer something unique that hasn’t been done in the Haze field in the past 25 years. Unlike the Dutch companies, who kept crossing Nevil’s NL/Haze hybrids with various indicas, thereby diluting the Haze/sativa influence.
There is indeed a part of the smell that feels like hash, the other particularity I wasn't expecting is the thickness of the resin layer. Is there going to be fem crosses of neville's plants avaible in the r&d ? (A5xC5, A5xoutback, a5xhashplanthaze,,,etc )

We’re not particularly interested in producing seeds using only Nevil’s work, he already did that better than anyone. What ACE can contribute is crossing Nevil’s original Haze hybrid parent plants with our wide catalog of high quality sativa genetics.

Lately, I’m mainly interested in working with the Outback from Nevil’s work.
I have the feeling she is going to produce great sativa hybrids crossed with our genetics.

Yes that's understandable.
Great news, everything exiting to you means more fun for us in the futur 🙌
There is very little documentation about these foundation clones. Makes it even more interesting and surprising to grow.

I would like to hear your opinion. I am a little worried because in the last week the leaves on the lower part of the plant, the oldest ones, have been turning yellow and falling off quickly. Is this normal at this stage of flowering or could it be some other problem, a deficiency?

Another thing I have noticed in my crops is the tips of the leaves curling downwards, as in the last photo. Any tips on what it could be? Sometimes I imagine it could be the humidity, which is always high here, something I can't control at the moment.

Your downward curl at the tips of the leaves is too much nitrogen. This can contribute to excessive foxtailing if you don’t get it resolved.

The lower leaves discolor and drop off is a sign of lack of nutrients. However, the relationship between nutrients is a little bit more complicated; too much nitrogen can lead to the plant having difficulty absorbing other nutrients.

You may benefit from adding P and K which they will want plenty of in flower, however I think the real answer may be to instead cut back on the nitrogen until you see those leaf tips straighten out.

Hope this helps

I @Guerrilheiro

It could be usefull to know your feeding regimen.

I suspect the begining of a nutrient lockout from overfeeding nitrogen or because the PH at the roots is a bit out of range.

It could also be overwatering.

They still look nice and strong though.

Good luck my friend ✌️

FH has a great point. If your Ph is off it could also contribute to difficulty absorbing nutrients

Looking good by mid flowering @Guerrilheiro thanks for the update.

Some yellowing of fan leaves is not rare by mid flowering, especially with A5 Haze hybrids which are more difficult than average to keep them fully green till end of flowering.

Our friends are right, please chech first ph and ec. If those are correct then adjustfeeding to less nitrogen and more PK.

Looks and sounds great at harvest time @island_organics  i would never have expected to find those refined haze/diesel type of terps you describe in such old school (non Ghani) Hashplant F1!

Thanks a lot for your interest in exploring this line and sharing the results with us, much appreciated.

I found that same terpene profile in one of the six females i grew a couple of years ago so maybe it's not that rare in the line. All the others were more sweet and floral with some earthy spice. What are your plans for the line?

Hello all together,
I would like to introduce my single GT x A5, germinated on 2025-04-27. She has been growing since the first day with an 11/13 hour (light/dark) regime. It is the eighth day after the appearance of the first pistils.
