Hello hamstring!
Amazing grow and awesome documentation, I love to see my babies in very capable hands.
Hats off to you buddy!
Couldn't have done it without your excellent gear. Well its a guerrilla grow so i don't want to count my chickens yet.

Hats off to you because it doesn't change how good of a guerrilla strain this is. I wish you hung out at UDG back in the day. Hell, maybe you did I wouldn't listen to a sativa grower/breeder.

You can teach an old dog new tricks you just have to speak slower heheheh and louder.

Keep these purple sat pics coming please, I love the Vermontmans work bigtime. I love to see the progress of how the bud swells overtime and the little white hairs come and go, along with the magenta ones of course. Kc Brains had a pheno of Leda Uno that looked similar, saw it somewhere her on ICMAG.

Thank you for your kind words and I here your old dog comment.
It's just been a pleasure to see everyone's grows, yours reminds me of my guerrilla grow days along the highways, many years ago.

Hello PS farmers. I wanted to finish this off with a few pics and a early smoke report.

We had a big storm come through two weeks ago. Rained nonstop for 36hrs then off and on for another 12 hrs. I couldn't get out to the site for 4 days after the storm. I posted a before and after photos and you can see the carnage. High winds and rain blowing on fully ripe flowers equals branch breakage.

True to this strains guerrilla strengths anything not laying directly on the ground was still good.

Here is one of the PS girls laying on the ground and she has plenty of good bud left to harvest.

Look at how beautiful these flowers are. Some stem and root porn also.

I lost over 50% but there is plenty here to make some nice hash, which was always the plan. I will not use moldy buds to make hash. Their is no truth in the the old adage, "mold to gold" . Its actually, "garbage in garbage out".

That's a 6"X8" tarp and at the end it was full enough that it was hard to close.

PS smoke report

I like to start off by saying this an early smoke report. I have only smoked 2 joints of PS and they were just done drying. Also this is kind of hard for me because this was really my first true sativa. When you always associate being stoned with that couch lock feeling its hard to really define the potency of this strain.

Plant Structure: First the plant structure is very nice. Sturdy branches and open structure. I give it an "A" on structure
Yield: My plants were transplanted by the first week of June. They were 7 ft and taller. I am guessing that I could have pulled 1/2 elbow off of the larger plants each.
Ease of grow: Dude, I have already said it many times but its worth repeating this is an A++ guerrilla strain.
Flower structure: Nice large colas, spear like in shape. A trimmers nightmare on this one. No way to trim all those small sugar leaves. ( When you are making hash it doesn't matter)
Smell: The cherry/chem smell turns mostly chem after drying. It may change with time .
Taste: It was a smooth smoke no coughing with large hits. No noticeable taste in the two joints I had. I pulled each joint from a separate plant.
Potency: Its weird and nice to smoke weed that doesn't make you tired/couch lock. There is no speedy or anxious feeling that is sometimes associated with sativas. I could smoke a large joint without any anxious feeling. My wife looked at me and said, "You're stoned". Again hard to put a number on it because I am not fluent in "sativa speak". What I will say is I think the hash will be very nice.

I would recommend this strain to any guerrilla grower. It has all the traits you are looking for. Good structure, A++ pest and disease resistance, heavy yielder.

PS hash!!

Just finished a run of hash with PS. Just one day and still a little wet. 25um on the left and 75 on the right. In the darker 160, if you look close you will notice I had a small hole in my work bag.

Never grew a sativa before so was totally surprised the 25 bag held the most resin. Doing a smoke test as we speak , minus the 160 yikes! Never used the 160 before but theres nothing in there to keep. It will be a give away to a friend in need but not a friend indeed hehehehe.

I'm like a kid with a new toy, a PS toy. Cant wait to compare the 75 to the 25. I will edit thread if there are any real true differences in the taste/buzz. If not, no worries I have a nice amount of PS hash to get me through the long cold midwest winters.

You know what I forgot, the whole point of the pictures of hash, very nice hash by the way, is that northern climate guys can have a great year with a early , pest and disease resistant strain like PS. A strain that needs minimal care and has good yields. Thats what Im looking for in my guerrilla garden.

Hey Lemonade

Like your handle goes well with making hash

Haven't weighed the hash because its all personal . I had >/= to 2.5 elbows of dry material. Keep in mind thats the grip and rip technique. It includes every little bit of the plant so a little deceiving. I don't think PS is a huge hash plant but its all personal smoke for me so I don't care about yields.

I want to be sure to say PS is not necessarily a commercial strain. I like PS for its ease of growing capabilities. I didn't have to worry about mold, leaf spot or insects in general. I have been guerrilla growing for over 25 years and most strains don't deal with adversity of guerrilla growing near as well.

If its a nice dry fall you can harvest many strains but if the conditions are less than optimal you may not get much for your efforts and risk. I have grown some years where I am picking through molded buds in to find usable smoke. I have honestly discarded pounds and pounds of moldy bud in the bush. No way I'm risking my freedom dragging out bud that may or may not be salvageable.

I know the world has changed a lot and many people don't have to deal with freedom issues. My state has recreational MJ laws ,but my old ass still lives in a different time and I appreciate PS for that reason.

I never grow just one strain. I like to experiment with other strains but I also want to pull a harvest for my efforts. Thats why my guerrilla plots will now always include some strains like vermont man is producing.

Wowzers looking nice @hamstring!

Any idea on yeilds? Or amount run
