No blumats kono. This is a recycled organic living soil. My second grow in the same soil. I added some additional organics to the top of the soil when the plants went in and again about a week before the flip. There is a drip system which keeps the soil pretty moist and I spray top soil every other day or so. It's a jungle alright. I went longer than I normally would before the flip to flower.

Here's a few shots of the PHT(3B) x F13.

The flowers look like they will be airy, but still much more substantial than the 3B PHT female. Aromas are beginning to tak on a floral nuance.

Here's the Purple Haze x Malawi

Just starting to develop resin and aroma...still a long way to go.

I am running a HPS vertical and have fluorescent type lights overhead. Those are adjusted as the plant stretches. I started flower after these plants were quite large, so not surprised at their stretch. They are also in nearly 200L pots. Stretch has pretty much ended on these, so now it is time to let them fill in. The cross of PHT 3b x F13 are already quite far along. They will finish much sooner than the Purple Haze x Malawi, which I'm guessing has another 6 weeks in her. Very haze leaning, but the yield, aroma and trichome coverage look like they will be significantly improved with the Malawi genetics.

PHT is a solid 16 week plant. I wouldn't let that scare you off as it is totally worth the time. I'd select my plants from seed after sexed, then clone and run that into flower. You could veg for as little as 0 days depending on height restrictions. I'd prefer a week or two veg at least. Keep some air movement on the plant as the stems are thin and you want to get the plant to toughen up a bit. Plant into largest well worked organic soil pot you've got. I've added some EWC and some dry botanicals (things like red clover, comfrey, etc.) along the way. Also, weekly hits with something like ful-power or TM-7 (1x a month).

Good luck.

The hazey sort of rubbery scent is getting crashed by a floral contribution from the F13.

These should be done in a week or two.

This kind of aromas are mouthwatering :yummy: The old spicy woody incensey purple haze thai aromas mixed with the floral hashy f13/flo aromas ..... can't wait for a smoke report.

Wish you all are starting a great 2014 :tiphat:

Yes, dubi. I'm looking forward to providing a smoke report after a nice cure. As this is the first plant I've flowered from the cross I made, it will be very interesting to see how the cross is expressed. What I can say is that assuming this is an average representation of the cross, there should be some nice specimens to sort out in the seed stock.

Best Regards to you and a successful new year wish.

It really is a lovely specimen. I will likely run her again and pop a few more seeds of this cross soon.

That lady looks great sir,.lovely structure. I bet it will be a powerfull smoke

+1!
Beautiful plant and pics, HN. Thanks for taking the time.
May I ask, how do you light your interior shots? They look
so nicely color-balanced and saturated, as well as composed/
focused.

It would be interesting to see if you get any sterile males from the F13
cross. It looks like I may have one with my F13 x Johnny Blaze.

Here's some PHT from a pack of freebies recently. Assuming F3 generation, but not sure if it's f4 yet. Have 6 girls, 3 from seed and one clone each of the plants from seeds. She clones like a champ. Take a cutting, cut (or do what I do and just tear them) the fan leaf tips, stick it in wet soils, and roots in a week or less. Hoping to hit this one or the clone with some male pck pollen. Growing at 13n. Days are slowly getting longer and she's on pace to be ready not far from the summer solstice. 13 hour days then. She'll probably stretch a bit, but I'm hoping she'll finish.

Thanks for the comments. I have fluorescent light overhead usually. That and my SLR's flash is all the lighting I use. I do some lighting adjustments in Photoshop Elements and that's about it.

Wouldn't surprise me to see the sterile males. Seems the F13 is legendary for it.

I chopped her yesterday, so here is some more PHT13 for you all...

Cheers for the photo info, HN, as well as for the additional postcards from
TrichomeTown. Congrats on the harvest, and the meticulous smoke report,
forthcoming. :)

Sadly, the sterile F13xJohnnyBlaze male was the solidly-purple stemmer
intended for pollenating my PHxTs.

Congrats on the harvest Humbl ;) Very interesting hybrid you have there! I'm glad she didn't show any hermie trait from the F13.
