Just found your diary mate nice work, i will be following along and dreaming of what could have been at my end. Keep up the pics we all love a good bush grow, respect brother.

Hey.. thanks brother for ya words of encouragement. These bush guerrilla grows can be a work of glory and disappointed. , hard work , risk , and satisfaction. Even more so with a significant other , who , works against the job at hand. Can be dicey. But onwards and upwards. Respect bro to you. :)

Here are 3 Malawi x PCK fems. Always interesting to see how one seedling will grow fast and big and another much smaller. Is this pheno dependent or just vigorous individual seeds? :dunno:

Yeah...Mullup has been used as meaning 'chop up' since I first started smoking back in WA 28 years ago. Still use it. :)

I know I like too Mull up. From Mullumbimby madness, but I didn't know that for years.

A "mull" for us (apart from a thinking about :)) was a horrible mix of a cigarette with hash or weed to be bonged. A mate of mine used to do an entire snout in one hit. It was no surprise his lungs were fucked.
Dark days indeed.

Visited plots a week after last visit and planting and all is well aside from one Tropical mix casualty. Replaced it with a Malawi x PCK and put other MPCK in spare hole next to it. They all need a good soaking which is what happened. :) Some of the Zamaldelica and the stinky Tropical mix fem were looking real good considering lack of attention.

They seem pretty tough . I've put my Panama through hell and she is still is powering on . Hope the rest of the season is kind to us down under.

Gday Holeshot. , Being a fairly low maintenance grow Im hoping this rings true here. I want to make seed off the most vigorous. , tough, successful plants for next year. Gurrellia strain for my local conditions. Not much rain so far at the start of December. We got that strong El Nino effect this year which may mean a higher rainfall for my area. Here is a summary from BOM.

" December temperatures are likely to be warmer than average for southern Australia, while rainfall is likely to be above average across southeast Queensland and northeast NSW, parts of the interior and southwestern Australia. "

Hey mate. Yeah fingers crossed for a good summer and autumn . Don't mind a bit of rain, as long as the hail and wild winds stay away .and a little dryer in Autumn .I had two flattened by flood waters last year. Staked them both back. Didn't even worry them .

Earlier this year when the cyclone came down it was a night time mission to rescue 4 mango haze in pots just before the rising flood waters got to em with an hour or so to spare. A ripper got half eventually anyway and took the best buds. This can be a - by the skin of ya teeth game !!

No rain to speak of all though December equals deprived plants. But this has a silver linning because only the battle hardy will survive in these gurrellia situation. Intervals between watering of 3-5 days, temps of high twenties to low thirties in the centigrade ...subtropics . Of the 16 seedling put in a while ago only 5 remain. 3 Zamaldelica and 2 tropical mix fem. The rest died of heat. There are 8 other young plants in pots ready to go in bush plot once the rain starts.as backup.

Gday Holeshot ...just had a pipe of local bush green...looked into your User name handle and Im gettin 3 or 4 sentences /words sitting in the mix. Some x rated ! ;-)

anyway...Im stoked u have a thriving Zamaldelica there...come hell or high water I will too....I think the broader leaf Malawi influence is holding up the best in general. Considering the talked about toughness for high heat conditions of this Malawi , it seems to be evident here somewhat.

Mate, its been a dry start to the main veg period for guys like me who plant late ,around the end of October. Budding starts early February here so thats 2 months of solid veg ....if it rains ?!?!? for decent plants. I have pretty much 1 of each left in backup so hopein for the right outcome....come what may.

Just using Seasol seaweed and Powerfeed folar and soaking understregth.
cheers and top of the season to you.! :tree:

Hey mull up , just check the acidity of the soil using powerfeed , not sure what your soil is like. Make sure you keep the calcium and magnesium up too them in veg. They eat it up!!
