Liquid_kid06, who sourced and preserved the strain in 2010 and passed it along, as far as I know, his thread can still be found at the Canna Cabana.

If you can get into canna cabana maybe someone can bring some more info over...

Unfortunately there's no much info on the strain at that thread, pics are gone as well. I tried to find the info some time ago but failed to find anything of interest.

Hi Musta. Do you know if it is possible to contact with Liquid_kid06 or Greywolf to ask them about the AG history since they got them in their hands?

:thank you:

This is another one from Phylos Galaxy. Different source than Bodhi or Snowhigh AG strains.

I know this isn't a pure landrace but yesterday i was read the post about vintage, and old catalogue...i saw on the SSSC cat. the strain called beatrix choice,Acapulco x hashplant/durban,and i suspectbthe mexican sativa is the same strain, with another name(therefore Acapulco and not Oaxacan)....

Ahorator, yes! Golden bud!!!! Thanks for the chart. Some special stuff indeed, we need more NLD old mex lines out there.

Troutman-

Zipolite- peachyfruity, herbal, followed by pungent cannabis smell with a hint of skunk

AG- clean lemon intro followed by blond gold wood spice,

Here are some more photos, I posted them on the ultimate sativa thread but they should probably cataloged in this thread as well.

Resiny AG male specimen, who’s pollen went far and wide, lol

Close up of some gold!

Keep that legendary strain alive and make seeds of the purebred! A true and authetic Mexican NLD is a strange sight from the past in these days!

Did you do something special to get the golden color in the bud? Or is it something natural in that "Golden" strain?

Greetings :tiphat:

Until a few years ago I wasn't sure a pure Mexican sativa ever existed. Seeing is believing! It's unbelievable how elusive something once so common can get.

I have one confirmed female, the other is taking it's sweet time. Due to downsizing, it will be a little while before either will end up in flower.

I am sorry to say I have 2 females. Well, kind of sorry. :)

If I'm remembering correctly, this is a different line than Bodhi's, right?

Have you considered reversing one or both of them for preservation? Or possibly a back cross using a male from Bodhi's line?

Can't wait to see pics!

Old seeds. Only 2 came up and source is LONG gone. Rural Grow Op , moderator at cannacollective long ago sent them to me but he wasn't the producer.

Don't throw the towel. Once I got one seeds germinated after 4 months. Try to germinate them around full moon. With old seeds the rate of germination sometimes increse vastly.

Also if you got females, you can ask for some pollen from a male.

There are NO more of these beans. 1/2 were literally crumbling when I received them, over 5 and probably more like 8 years ago. 3 seemed like they might make it.

IF you can figure out when Cannacollective went online, it was within a month or two of that moment.

I am weighing my options for preserving the genetics. I am not quite throwing in the towel.
