About "elite" strains

Hi guys, as a new york city 18 year old, I haven't smoked or heard of many strains. The typical ones in my area are just regular mid-grade or even low grade buds. Only known strain that I have had before are Blueberry, don't even know which breeder, and Sour Diesels. Everyone in my area just calls its drow....like duhh hydro grown, no strain names involved...kind of crappy... Well yeah the point is I just want to know some great strains or elite strains and see if I could get a hold of them one way or another, although I probably can't. Should just stick with some limited and hope it becomes leet...From this great community, I have learned so many strains that are great, but what are elites. All I have gathered are ECSD and Sharon, who are the breeders by the way? Yeah I wish I could get them. Anyway so what are some and where can I get them? I think Rezdog's seeds are great and might become elite, but what about now. Yeah I probably sound like a whinner...lols.. Yeah just trying to gather information...Anyone know of any NYC delivery service? sad I live here. How does a person get a clone in this community, because the guidelines say no trading, selling..etcc.. It's a inner circle kind of thing though right? Have to be asked by the person who has them?..

yeah this is kind of a long useless post probably to you guys...Yeah I know it depends on the people.. everyone has their opinion, but Im sure everyone has one strain or another in common.

Yo Nycnoob, I am sure everyone has their time when something good like this to happen. I ve been around from the beginning of this site and yet to get any clones from anyone. I guess trust and time will be factors. yeah and these "elite" strains look to be something of the future. good luck. SH36

just about any strain on SD is elite if the best you have been smoking is mids.. If you grow a nirvana strain well you will end up with the best weed you have ever smoked.. them move up to a better breeder.. you got a long time before you have to worry about tracking down those "elites"

I do not own any of these "Elites" but fuck all the shit talkers I want them. I highly doubt its worth shying away from. I say you try for them some how. SH36 p.s. when i mean try but not to PM every person that has them.

ok nycnoob ...maybe this will help... it's hard as hell to get a clone from anyone you really dont know so dont hold your breath on getting one from in here ( but then again anything's possable!)..as far as elite strains go ( all mj is elite imho) they are verygood to extraordenary pheno's of a strain ..ok say you bought a pack of cali-o seeds and grew them out and out of 10 seeds you get 1 that smells like tropacana x10 and the buds are purple... deep purple w/trichomes that look like a puple fungi has hit your grow and on top off it gets you F.U.B.A.R. in 2-5MIN and last 4 hours & it flowers in 55-65 days... now you got something no one else has a elite. as far as what strains have elite status i would have to make a list but thats how we get those elite strains

If you have not even grown before, I would wait till you move so as not to burden your parents in the event something goes wrong (which usually does) it doesn't land on their doorstep by no fault of their own.

If ya have moved out get ya some seeds from Seeds Direct, some lights, and get to growin.

There is a slim to no chance you'll get the strains you metioned without a long and active roll growing and contibuting to the community. Those "elites" are passed among friends only.

I'm not looking to ask for the clones of elites..although it may sound like.. I would like it if I had my hands on it.. But yeah I just want to know what are strains are actually elite in people's opinion... Yea I should have purchase those nirvana seeds when they were 15USD...grrrr... Then I saw them go to 20. NOw they are 26...grrrs....

figaroo, I appreciate your input, but yeah after hearing of the story from Crazy composer bout his friend coming over to have a toke of his ECSD and getting knocked out after 10 minutes is pretty darn great. Also hearing of a story of a fellow ICmager ( can't remember how) but he got knocked out after it too.

Yeah I understand Shaolin..I would like clones and seeds etc..but yeah I don't need them so I wouldn't ask.. yep trust is a big issue...I probably won't have many relationships because I am a lurker (=.. I am trying out bagseed, just looking at the botany.. Seems pretty cool.. I love to look and inspect on it..

Yeah on the topic of bagseed..How is it that in like a bud there is a seed.. Is it a Hermi, because if it is, there isn't really a point for me trying it, except for the botany lessons..

I always wish people would offer me clones then when they do I get scared and think of what what kush just said.. There is something about picking out that one that you like the best.. I have a CRAP load of seed strains on my list and more and more get added everyday..

So far my Trainwreck is the only plant in my permanent rotation.

I'm workin on a Sharon cross and some of Rez's DSD right now and each of those have promise.

Sharon, if memory serves me is a special pheno of White Widow that was identified and isolated by the cats at TRC (Texas Resin Company).

All that not mj stuff is gibberish your friend doesn't know what he's talking about. It may be so intense that it feels like something different. Widow Sharon is marijuana I assure you.

There are a few grows detailed on here that have some Sharon, Schrom, ECSD, Sour D, Cheeze, Elvis all kinds of stuff.

The mother was selected from seed developed by one crazy yanqui. The exact origins are somewhat of a mystery. It is strong pot. The feminized mothers were fairly homogenous, although from several of the line, and another more extreme sativa. This mother had indica-like buds on a sativa sized plant. Crossed with the same SwT father as Sweet Tooth #3, I am sure you find it distinctly different from anything on the market. It should probably not even be on the market as it encourages psychosis. Not good for unstable folks! It has been known to magnify neurotic behaviour

Looking at the TRC's Big money that pretty much only Crazy composer had is freaking nutes..that truely would be a money maker because of yield.. Too bad they don't know the crosses.



I am like a fan of sweet smelling and fruity strains...get me high just smelling it..
