So fun…getting high…putting the respirator on…and spraying colors into an alternate universe.

Can’t spray this stuff indoors though. Only downside of these spray paints. I usually paint in the early morning…before the winds kick up. I can use the paint pens indoors no problem though.

* furniture store’s cardboard recycle bin for material to paint on. Free.

^ looking North at the Mogollon Range…about 30 miles away direct. Sick place to run. Sick place period. If you get fucked up in that range…you’re pretty much on your own. The holes are deep. Cell phone coverage is limited to high ridges. Not a lot of people out there. The town of Mogollon has a very small population of full time residents. Historical mining town. I love it up there in every season but winter. Winter is a no go.

^ That far ridge is a Sky Island in Arizona. The high peak is Mount Graham (10,700’)…which is another sick place to run. Guess and say that’s a 100 miles to the base of the mountain as the crow flies. Man that would be a tough 100 miles…I’d have to cross a series of mountains and desert…miles and miles of rolling desert washes…covered in cactus and mesquite…sharp and dry.

I wish there was a complete trail…but there’s not. There’s ranches, AZ and NM State lands, BLM lands, Forest Service lands….it would be a logistical nightmare to just shoot a compass bearing and go. But I think about it. Especially in this fall weather. Now would be the time.

^ Still getting warm days. Abundant sunshine…mild winds. Anything 50 or above is no shirt run weather. Shorts all winter. Nights have dipped below 30…clear cold…always feels colder in clear skies at night.

Fucking hurting today. My hips were tight the whole run. Some days are like that. Push through it. Breathe out. Keep fighting. Grind it.

this a bit late but i need to clear something up.

i am not the CREATOR of the purple bastard strain, i got the seeds from a friend. ran then breed male female and gave her the PURPLE BASTARD.

any one who has gen version is one gen behind.

if you have f3 you really have an f4 if ya have an f6 you really have an f7 and so on and so on.

this was a mistake i made way back then, i should not have released this strain as an f1 but it was not, it was a breed making it an f2.

there has never been an f1 PURPLE BASTARD carrying that name sake, if some one tells you there is there either misinformed or the piece was not the same as the one were talking about here.

peace ..

Turned 57 a couple weeks ago…we’re having a solid winter here…rain/snow…fairly constant….so the running is difficult (have a window today…no rain until after 2…but tomorrow is a write off)…painting (the one above is current and still unfinished)….made dry sieve and bubble hash last week (the bubble I made with fresh snow….this can be seen on video @pablopanorama on IG)…still have another batch of bubble to make before the end of winter.

The garden herb is top tier. Great running herb. My favorite thus far is Sister 23…but really….they are all excellent. I have parted with very little (other than the 3 pounds I gave my friend for using his land) so sitting deep in the herb. I’ll not be gardening this season. Don’t need to.

Can’t complain. The land is getting its moisture…the mountains are happy…we are healthy….heading out here in few to get some time on feet…elevate

Epic!! tx for the update... lovely pics of the country! Nationwide rolling blackouts continue on this side of the globe, so clones are vegging up nicely for an OD flower run, yours was very inspirational.... mcl torn, so no running or riding... let the pics roll... what type of screens are you sifting with?

My neighbor…up the hill…gave me his bubble bag set. He doesn’t use them or want them back. I used only the 220 and 73 micron bags to make bubble. I used the same 73 micron along with the 120 micron to screen out the dry sieve over a big metal bowl. The dry sieved pressed ball was made with both the 120 and 73 together.

^ Gave myself a blister the other day hand pressing/rolling the bubble ball. Very sticky.

Last night I cleared the freezer of the remaining harvest trim…put it in a 5 gal bucket…filled it up a little under 1/2 way with water…and set it out overnight to freeze in the storm we had rolling through.

This morning I added fresh snow and hand mixed it…hand squeezing handfuls of it…through the bucket with bubble bags in it…screening out the glands 5 separate times. Added snow when needed.

This method is superior to using ice…and stirring the trim in the bag bucket. I’ve been mixing in separate buckets for years…but had never made bubble with snow until last week. And I’d also never just hand squeezed the trim above the screens before last week. The high desert dry snow works better than ice…and hand squeezing above the screens is also very effective. * the downside is that my hands get painfully frozen.

^ The mixing and screening process. I had to use the red bucket as an extra mix bucket…as there was…too much trim to mix all in the 5 gal bucket.

^ I’m guesstimating between 1.5-2.0 ounces of hash from today’s pull. I have already screened 17 grams of dry sieve and another 30 grams of bubble from last week’s pull. All from sugar leaf trim and airy flowers.

* The drying process involves a space heater to help get the initial moisture out (heavy quick desaturation)…then breaking the cookie into pieces…smaller as the drying continues…down to crumble powder when dried. At least 5 days. * I only use the heater during the first few hours of drying out the water. After that…room temps
