Your weed looks awesome... thanks for going to the time to document and pot....
Any time for running lately..?
Thanks! Very happy with the garden results. Came out to perfection. Now I just want to finish up the processing and go back to run for a while.

^ Sister 09 was the last girl to harvest. She had the first powdery frost on her. No flower damage…just a dusting.

We did well

Fantastic, the rewarding feeling of success is a hard feeling to beat. Looks like you have a fair amount too.... Any plans for the trim..? Out of all the sisters which is your best smoking? And how much diversity is there amongst the smoke of the different sisters?
regards

Ended up with over 15 pounds of trimmed flower. The trim will get made into hash over the winter…the stalks will be made into a salve. Nothing gets wasted.

Lot of diversity in the population. People who advertise that S1 plants will be just like the selfed mother are sadly misinformed. In no way uniform.

Did I see traits of the mother plant? Yes.

Did I see a replica of the mother plant? Hard to say because I only saw the mother grown indoors.

If I were to continue working the Eazy Mox Trilogy line….I’d use no males. Unless you can take the time, effort, and space to reverse a male and see what he actually brings to the party….I see them as a waste.

* There is diversity in the flavors and aromas of the population. From textbook ruby red grapefruit (Sister 09) to the synthetic chemical epoxy aromas (Sister 17 and 24) to sugary floral fruit (Sister 03) to lemon citrus pine (Sister 04 and 26) to chalky vanilla (Sister 13)….no skunk aromas…but more complicated floral funk I can’t describe (Sister 23)

** All the Sisters are flavorful and very uplifting in head and potency. My personal preferences (the ones I’m hoarding) are Sisters 17, 03, 13, 09, 23, and 26. They represent best the different flavors/aromas in the population. Sister 17 was the most difficult expression to work with…and also my most spoiled daughter…because she required more attention to grow to my satisfaction.

*** Sister 13 was the lightest yielder at a 1/2 pound. Sister 23 was the heaviest at 2 pounds. 23 was heavier than 26 by 3 ounces.

**** Sisters 07, 18, and 11 are just good. Me being objective here. Nothing really stands out. They get me plenty high and taste funky good…07 and 18 yielded over a pound each but just not stand outs to me. Sister 11 (all 10 ounces of her…2nd lightest yield) I can see coming around to me in cure…but right now…nothing stands out. These are my mid level expressions. Good but not noteworthy.

***** Sister 01 came in really fast (by the end of Sept) and had the densest flowers out of the population. She weighed in at an even pound. Easiest plant to grow…low maintenance. She smokes really nice too…with a sugary floral flavor…not so much funk…but tasty and uplifting head. She’s been harvested for so long…I kind of forget how solid of a plant she turned out to be. Another one that is getting better with cure…

^ Only a single S2 bean was found. Came from Sister 09…..the survival trait. I was hoping for several seeds off each Sister…but they just didn’t stress enough to panic. I’ve had great success with seeds I’ve found in my outdoor grows. All selfs. All turned out better than the mothers. But that’s just luck.

Howzit, thanks for the detailed response, appreciate that, Love the sound of the epoxy smells... also love me some pine. We've been having such problems with the national power supply I may just be flowering plants outdoors next year... its awesome to see someone doing it their own way, with their own genetics, motivational to say the least....

Sister 17 and Sister 24 both have that USA 80’s era green bud profiles that I remember from my youth. In Eazy Mox Trilogy I believe it comes from the Chem DD I infused (from both the female and male sides in Mox Mox) into the cross from the beginning.

* the flower structure is similar in both these Sisters….and they get me to believing that there is Northern Lights buried way back in the genetics…or something else like an old school Afghani from the 80’s era of breeding

** Sister 17…to me…is a total hash plant. More so than 24. She is very leafy and soft flowered when cultivated…and you have to loose trim her…because every piece is coated with excessively sticky resin glands

^ opening a vacuumed pack ounce of Sister 23 to check the quality. Sister 23 yielded 2 pounds of the type of flower/traits I go for. Potent and to the head.

* Vacuum sealing lighter/looser constructed flowers is something you have to have a feel for I think. Just the right amount of moisture in the flowers when compressed and stored seems to be the ticket. If I compress them too dry the flowers tend to crumble.

Today was the first day I was ready to look at the garden again. At this time I will say : I do not have the desire to grow another one in ‘23

….but that could change. I’ll take everything apart, cover, and amend the garden and have it set up to go just in case I decide to slip into it again.

I can definitely improve upon it. This season’s garden was a rush job. Winged it.

Kinda crazy how nice it came out. There's something cool about running things that way, skin of the teeth. You know you can pull it off, but it needs constant care. Vigilance.

It was a pleasure to see your season play out. Thanks.

By the way, I think of you sometimes when I use my shop vac to take yellow leaves off the bottoms. Haha....remember that from your indoor?

I totally remember the shop vac! I considered a battery operated leaf blower this season for drying out rain soaked plants. Technology!

It was tough. It was time consuming. It was vexing…..

…but I’m happy to have done it! The herb is really good….after not having grown my own or smoked my own in 4 years. Rewarding.

And I’ve had a good meal of drama.

Thanks, dude! Great seeing you around too!
