A well curated ignore list is an absolute must

In years of internet use I never thought it would come down to this. Curate. Your. Ignore. List. It is important to use the tools the forum has available to ignore people who are rude, insensitive to others, or are just plain trolls who are not contributing to anything. I have been on this platform for around 3 months and I'm shocked at the way people treat others, taunt others, and menace others. Even stupid shit is inflammatory towards others in that the people doing this are not processing information well nor are they articulating their true condition.

The quality of my experience here improves or declines based on the use of ignore or un-ignore. It's truly fascinating what some people think are acceptable behaviors.

My ignore list grows by roughly 3 people per month. One of the main reasons I do not share my business details is because as soon as you start managing dumb and insensitive information, people will come for you, they will come for your business, they will come. I say bring it on, I am armed with the ignore feature.

I have been posting for many moons on ic and have never felt the need or urge to ignore anybody. what is the point of the ignore function there's always going to be ass holes posting dribble, unfortunately they can't help themselves.

I do ignore people, but i don't have any list... - I'd prefer to see the complete tosh that some people talk and have a good laugh at it.... or dismantle their argument if i have the time or inclination.

What i do find sad is people who have a valid point to make, but feel they need to dress it up with Ranting, grumpyness and abuse to cultivate their 'tough' persona. This kind of behaviour can only result from a deep-seated insecurity. (or frustration at their lack of good weed to chill themselves out )

If you want to run up a big ignore list try reddit.......I find most on these forums(icmag type) to be more civil, but there are bound to be assholes wherever you go.
