I think in Australia they have laws regarding growing in Soil versus Hydro. The laws are different in terms of plant count and I guess theyve tightened the laws . Good luck Joe Hawkins!

day 49 .. and this pheno is almost ready..

started flushin today the PTK/scbb x PTK ones and the bogglegum..

and started cut the nutes a bit on the HAZE cross.

the papaya, skunkpassion and the mazar are still on normal nute mix.

hehehe - looks like the PTK back cross is going to mature MUCH quicker than i thought.. good good

PTK/SCBB x PTK

DAY 49 -
pheno A is covered almost 70% brown hairs but there is no orange trichs in sight yet. seems to be a perfect pheno for indoor 8 week grows,. its got a bit of purple in the underside of the leaves in the kola. its got a slightly skunky smell, but the fruity sweet pear smell overides the skunkyness. this pheno got a nice calyx to leaf ratio - its got a bit of leaf in the tip - but its a few big fat leafes that covers it up and hides the goodness - i got a surprise checking up on it today - its made a huge leap towards maturity since last week. very promising pheno - good yielder also.

pheno B is also getting brown hairs but looks like it is going to go a bit longer than the A pheno. this pheno has an extremelly strong odor - this really stinks - but in a nice way - its an almost rancid, sour pear/fruityness to it - this one smells much more stronger than the A pheno. its buds are small but very compact and resinous looking -might not be a good yielder but awesome smell and look - bet the smoke will be the same.. calyx to leaf ratio - medium

pheno C this one is still producing hairs but its so huge and so resinous.. its got a sweet spicy smell, maybe a bit of a tone of spicy meat-stew hehe but with a hint of fruityness to it.. its got really good calyx to leaf ratio. very nice specimen..

pheno D has also started maturing.. its really like a huge version of the B pheno - so it really looks promising - its about 2 - 4 x the size of the B pheno but the rest is the same - dont know smell yet - cant reach it to touch the bud.. its got a dark menacing look to it

SSH x PTK

pheno A this one is extremelly smelly, skunky, rancid, overpowering - one of those that makes ur nose twitch.. its got tones of fresh fruits like pineapple and pear - hehe a PTK strait for sure, medium yielder but very resinous. its still got a bit to go.. this one got a medium calyx to leaf ratio. short girls

pheno B this one got a sweet skunk pear smell - the yield will be ok from this one , and also it got more calyx to leaf than the A pheno - medium tall - nice sized buds

pheno C this one is a good yielder and very resinous - the top kola is about 40 cm - yes more than a foot my friends - its also the tallest of the SSH cross phenos - this one got nice kolas quite far down in the bush.

PAPAYA - calyx to leaf ratio is good - however there is 2 phenos that are more or less easy to spot:
- A - bigger buds and a bit more resinous - stronger acidic smell, but got a skunky touch
- B -smaler buds but resinous, skunky smell and a bit acidic

besides that these babies are very similar - both phenos have a whiteish look to them when the light gets reflected in the trichs

SKUNKPASSION - this seed is from my last winter grow - its got a bit less calyx to leaf ration than the best SP phenos i had last year - but still - its really smelly - reminds of rotten garbage mixed with some sweetness and a skunky touch. this one is an alright yielder. its also reasonably ersinous

MAZAR - 2 variations of same clone one was inte the shadow of the fan for a long time - and its got smaler buds - but its alo starting to get really smelly - its lost its floral lemony smell and its going more skunky. there is lots of resin in the buds on both.

BOGGLEGUM- fluffy looking buds, but very extremelly resinous. still fatening up. its got a fruity kind of chewing gummy smell to it - but also with a skunky smell.. its looks like a good yilder.

Bonecarver... I dont post much in your thread, but have been watching since its begining at OG... great grow I must say. Your grow has been a valuable resource tool since you have quality growing skills (and you surf ). I need to make it out to Spain some time and get some of them quality waves and hash you get there.

Im in australia and the (john the baptist) Prime minister wants to do a 'Mental Health Ballroom Blitz' and has decided that Hydroponic marijuana is the problem because its "seven times stronger" than soil grown, coz hes as clued up on plant botany as my old mate Legion. He is blaming our mental health probs on MJ, only because 0.9% of mental health patients are in there coz they cant handle a 2 hour MJ high.

Actually our democracy has really turned for the worse, our senate now holds a majority share of liberal cronies which makes our senate really "democratically defunct", ie its actually anti democracy ie despotism or a dictatorship, im not sure if this is the case with the U.S. senate, but seems inevitable if its happening here. (actually we are mimicking the US like a good baptist would)
