but i made a slight calculation misstake - hehe i didnt really think about the fact it takes a long time for the water to drip the necesary amount - so i can forget about those 3 minutes a day i was thinking at first - now instead im letting the pump run and im taking time to see how long time it takes for it to do its job.
hehe i forgot to update with the time yesterday hehe
set up: 2 drippers on each pot - x 5
it took about 3 and half hours to soak the coco.
i still got more drippers i can use - i can put 4 drippers on each of the big pots so the watering would take half as long. but its ok like this anyway
so i might just save the drippers for an other bunch of pots.
Drippers or emitters are a PITA....I reccomend you take them off and run an open ended spaghetti tube......emitters ALWAYS end up clogged....save yourself the headache later and dont use them??!!!!
wow - theese drippers work much better - even though i use the end spikes of the old system . the new dripper heads regulate the pressure much better - this far all drippers besides the last one on the tube work great.
the drippers are of the brand gardena - and they got a whole bunch of diferent watering heads - sprayers, misters drippers etc. i got the 4L/hour drippers (1 gallon and hour)
the first pic is the screw in-conection piece to the main tube.
the see thru bit is a small invention i made - its to see the water flow and if there is dirt in there that might imfulence the flow - also it helped conecting the black tube to the drippers that are a tiny bit too big really for the tubes.
lets see how it goes.
i had a small incident when i went in to the growroom - i acidently snapped almost half of a topped SSH x PTK clone - i normally use painters masking tape for strapping the snapped ones back together - but today i had run out so i used electricians isolation tape instead. - i hope it worjs even though it doens breathe - it could at worst mean rot problems.
if worst come to worst i will just cut it down and have some early smoke.
