Hey man, you're the best Malawi grower around here. You should be a tester for Ace. you describe the high so well and that recent one has made me so much more excited for this African beauty.

How long having a rough guess does she have left?

What ones are more powerful, the broader or thinner phenos?.

Cheers.

You so funny and probably stoned too kiwigreen420.Dubi and some others better than I.
You guys always trying to be nice.So I take more sexy pics for you.I know your tricks.

These Africans do get big.Your plant looks healthy after being cut back a few times.
The thin leaf plants are sometimes very sensitive.Careful how much food you give it.

Let me consult my crystal ball.Looks like long time.
Malawi from seed starts to flower around 4 weeks.Clones flower faster near 2 weeks.
You have a longer flowering Malawi and may go another 8 weeks.Every plant is unique.
All depends when you want to cut it.I let mine go long for maximum effect and yield.

Potency is in the strain and not just a particular type of plant.
I prefer the longer flowering high resin plant over shorter flowering.
I like the broad leaf plants, better feeders and not so sensitive.
Faster Malawi was more energetic and sociable.
Longer flowering more devastating, mind expanding, trippy and holds you in your location.

If the plant is not too stretchy I let it go natural.
The stretchy plant you want to try and get an even canopy.

Take care.

Thanks for the inspiration Zanddar!

I also had the fortune of securing 4 packs of these a while back but put them on ice waiting for the opportunity to do them justice. I have had similar ideas for doing an inbreeding program as yourself, so this thread will make for great reference.

Thanks so much for sharing!

Malawi - Day 80 of 12/12

Malawi - Day 80 of 12/12

Hey, all you Malawoids!! I've had one in the hopper since late October. Grew her out from a clone - one having an atrocious nutritional time of it at first - never no mind, though, she grew into a remarkable plant. Started out as two thin branches opposing each other...kinda ended up the same way - only different.

attachment.php

I'm thinking she's coming down soon. I saw a couple of ambers (amidst a jungle). Not only was she grown from a mature clone (perhaps expediting her development) but she was also grown under 11/13 from a young age (perhaps also expediting development). Perhaps its genetics? Whatever, she will probably be coming down within the week. She is still kicking out a few white hairs but the majority are brown - most of the trichs seem to be cloudy. I sampled some taken from about a week ago and it was devastating. Chop! Chop!! Soon come!

Beatiful lady thanks for the pics

The base of the plant is Thick an those large colas are impressive how long did you veg ?

Imho a week or 2 would add to both potency an yield

Hey, bigherb! Thanks!! For the kind words and your thoughts on the matter.
Her tallest branch was no more than 12" - probably closer to nine. She had a miserable childhood, as I said above, and had to be nursed back to health. I appreciate your advice - I will try to hold off. I'm not a big fan of amber in sativa and I have started seeing 'em but you are undoubtedly correct. I always end up in this dilemna at harvest!!!

You will find stretchy and shorter bushy plants.
One of my most potent strains.

Looks real nice mayan.
Let it go another week and it will fill out a bit more.
I don't like too dark of a bud either, but I like it dense.

Good Luck

Clone done at 12 weeks and started to reflower. On water for 2 weeks.
Take it to the max for full effects and light show.

Dense heavy bud with very little leaf.
Deep sweet woody resin smell.
Dry leaf tips and no bananas.

Sticky Buds Stay Tuned

from 7 plants..they are trully amazing with great vigor and very thin
leaves..definately i have 100% sativas in my garden and propably
some of the best in the world..i will show photos soon.

about the feed ...my EC at the rdwc sustem is 0,2-0,4..anything more burns the edges of the leaves..for sure the most low feeder
plant i had.

Her Time is FAST Approaching

Her Time is FAST Approaching

Here's my Malawi clone at about 12 1/2 weeks. Not quite sure how much longer I'm gonna let her go. Don't want to do her a disservice by taking her too early but she's looking a bit long in the tooth and pistil development is very sporadic at this point. Trichs appear to be cloudy. She was grown under 11/13 light - still haven't figured out whether that affects speed of maturity.

Nice plants Zanddar and Mayan.
Mayan, how long did you veg that plant, the stalk has some thickness. I'm wondering if that was from a long veg or did it do that in flower? What kind of feed are you using? Very nice plants.

Can anyone give some idea as to how the Ace Malawi compares to the Malawi from other breeders?
I just place an order for some cheap Malawi for a comparison. I'm not going to be able to grow any out for several months at least but I wanted the option of trying another Malawi and if they seem to breed true maybe use them as a Malawi outcrossing.

I initially picked the Ace Malawi based on recommendations from a couple growers and I am not disappointed since reading the threads here. But I would like to know how they compared to others.
