the apollo's go 65-67...groovy!!! That means we still have some time to enjoy them growing They are extremely fat and dense right now, with 25 days to go, it looks like we are in for a treat with some big ass Rez buds on christmas!!!
fantastic sunnyside!! Those 3 mazar plants in that one pic look almost identical.....i think that means the breeders really put some time and effort into the strain......resulting in a very narrow range of phenotype expression.....maybe all are identical from the looks of it......solid, dependable strain that mazar is.....-gp 2 cents :friends:
Damn I just looked at every pic in the whole thread and I have not 1 complaint! Great genetics, great growing skills, and great camera work man! I just got a pack of sensi's superskunk. Looks like yours might be done before i get room to start mine. Let me know how the smoke is!
Man i gotta go take care of this boner... lol jk.
Maaaan,those look great!
Imo,phenotypically,a nice A11/KM hybrid split,I can see A11 and Kali Mist in there....
My guess from the pics is 25-ish days, give or take.....but a 'scope always tells The Tale....
Great grow, the other stuff looks absoluely A++ as well!
hohoho.....xls for xmas!!! just got a closer look at the apollo mists based on the comments of the grand poo-bah master rez.....this smoke report should be overwhelmingly trippy or psychedelic in nature.....
i think i see where Rez is coming from.....the thin-bladed leaves from the Kali Mist parent are supporting a floral cluster structure similar to the apollo11 parent.....here is a comparison between a random apollo11 and sunnyside's apollo mist polyhybrid....
first the random apollo11:
now sunnyside's:
so in polyhybrids like the apollo mist.......does each trait necessarily have to resemble either the maternal or paternal side or is there a possibility of a truly unique and novel trait surfacing? Does anyone see any truly unique aspects in these apollo mist plants? Are unique traits what a breeder should look for when evaluating the success of a breeding project?
so many many questions......the learning journey never ends and that is what makes the study of Cannabis so satisfying......there is so much to learn and so many unexplored aspects of Cannabis plant science and cannabinoid chemistry......
-kind regards,
a fellow renegade of funk named.......guineapig!!!
Very nice work Mr Smoke Reporter. As I sure would like to read your reports on BD and Apollo Mist. BTW your apollo mist looks like Apollo11 straight up. I never grew the Mist. Your skunk looks a lot like my M39(Sk#1 X NL). Except I got the funkest skunk smell you could believe. Sooo I'm interested in how your Skunk's come out too. I'm at day 63 of flower with the M39's and they still have four or five days to go. I've also grown straight Sk# 1 they went 70 days.
CC... I agree with you on the smell..This plant has the most beautiful candy smell I have ever had the pleasure of wiffing...lol On top of that the plant is fuggin huge and the buds are phat as can be. Rez knocked the ball out of the park with this one.
BigMo...Yes the BD is beautiful in her own way. A very meager yeilder (your right Georgy). The smoke is extremely tasty but not of the sweet variety. If you have a sweet tooth Domina is definately not for you. Her taste borders on the ceder/spice/pepper, with a stone that hits you a half a second after you inhale. A connoisseur in every sense of the word.
SmokeyPufmaster...your comments are always welcome. I assure you the reports on BD and AM are comming shortly. Along with a report on the mazar and skunk. I am going to be a busy guy...lol. As far as the AM, I have never grown the apollo or the KM so I dont really have a good point of reference, but I do know that this is one nice fuggin plant whatever its lineage.
guineapig...I am not sure about the xo's of the line. At this point I am just enjoying the grow and the plants for what they are (phenos). I am sure at some point I might become a litlle more into the xo's, then I might be able to join in your conversation with some input. But keep on askin your questions hopefully someone here can discuss this with you and help to answer your questions.
Rezdog...I truly apreciate your comments. And let me tell you something, this plant rocks!!! One of the best smells I have encountered in my life....PERIOD, not just on a plant. The yeild is looking like it will be a doozie and the smoke is divine. Thank you for creating this wonder of a plant!!!!
Dubmantx...I will definately keep you updated on the skunks...make sure you check in periodically to see updates.
Southernsmoker...you shut the fuck up... JUST KIDDING...LMAO. South, you are tha man!!! I agree that the Apollo is definately a keeper in my garden as well. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for turning me on to this one...again, you da man!!
This is how I would describe the smell CC...It's not funky or skunky at all. When you rub the buds it reminds me of the smell in a florist shop...floral perfume.
Consistantly one of the best shows on the forums. I nominate SS for grower of the year. You have put up some good stuff this last year SunnySide. Always a pleasure to watch.
