When using C02, didn't you say a while back that you pushed the ppm up to 750? Or are you using 600 ppm regardless?

yeah, i tried playing around with input strength while using co2 and never saw much difference in growth so just went back to 600 ppm with a 750 co2 set point and a 50 ppm dead band with 6k on usually 10 plants.

i'm setting up my first personal room now since my move and will have much more intense lighting so it will be interesting to see what i will have to input.

My guess is u wont need to add anymore. U feed so frequently that any nutrient being used is just replaced in what 90 minutes, plus is wicked up as needed.

Thanks D9,
i Guess that's why im getting yellowing. Funny though......i went this route the whole last round and ended up with some healthy plants and Primo buds.

All i did was create a concentrated 100 gallon stock in a 2gal container @1g Jacks: .67 Calcinit and poured into a 20gal tub with RO water til i hit the desired PPM of each it went great! just not getting the same results this time around. Started adding Epsom as well

i don't know about the yellowing but i have never been a big fan of concentrated pre-mixed nutrients as i feel there is a greater chance of unwanted reactions as concentration increases. i'm not a chemist so maybe someone with more chemical background would be able to help on this subject.

I run a stock solution of 880 grams per gallon of jacks. And 644 grams per gallon of calcium nitrate. Makes around 380 gallons of finale mix at 10 ml of each per gallon. I have been running that for three years with no adverse effects. This is a much stronger concentrate than mentioned.

That said have you checked your roots. What you mention is what I get when I have to much grow media and over water. Maybe back off on the watering till it dries more before watering. Wait till the roots are more developed before uping the frequency of watering.

I use Jack's classic for veg a single module top fed PPK with coco and 8822 mixed. I used a 3 1/2 gallon bottom and about a 3 gallon container for a top. I used a six inch netpot as a tailpiece. I switch to the Bloom Booster, when I flip them.
Started this as a get by years ago when I had no meters, but it has worked out so well, that I have stuck with it. I still use no meters, but each time I have ever checked it, it comes off at 6.1 - 6.2 and right at 900 ppm. I am currently using classic/ bloom booster combo in coco DTW . I know I would probably get better results with the two part but this has worked fine for me.

Could someone draw a diagram please I'm confused on how the system is built and works

Is it like some sort of recirculating Hempy on a timer ?

Good to see you are still at it with the ppk. Love the updates and the new media wicks especially. I have been out of it for awhile now but I got me some girls and I'm getting ready to set up some new ppk cabs. One is gonna house moms and clones and one for flower. Just trying to decide I I will have the room to mount my ppl bulbs vert or horizontal in the dresser I'm building..
Neways ill have the build and grow in the micro section. Last.one was a ppk sog and the clone upkeep was too much like work for my lazy ass. Lol. Plus my girl is sketchy about plant count so I'm looking to keep 3or 4 moms and just run one scrog at a time in my flower cab with 4 plantsites all sittin on my single control rez. Glad to see your still rockin the ppk d9. Had to setup a new username and password cause I can't get into the email on my old DocCrow username to reset the password lol.

Pictures speak a 1000 words

A sharpie stoner scetchup will do :)

Even a crayon will suffice as long as it's self explanatory:biggrin:

I think i got it under control now! it wasn't the concentrate mixture and roots are always healthy, it was these new LEDs i was test driving that was eating up the Mag like crazy!!!

anyhow, i made it aware to the builder (New Company) and they will be retrofitting these lights with a UV-B tube and COB's

Things are green again:dance013::dance013:
