**Edited some pics just to sate my paranoia. Crazy girlfriends will do that to ya!**

I am almost finished with my flowering room and my clones have just shown roots. :headbange

I figured it was about time for me to share a little bit of my work and hope that I can get some good feedback and maybe give a few ideas to others.
I've read volumes on this site. Every DIY, DWC, and grow diary I came across.

I'll be starting another grow diary once I begin to flower my clones. I just wanted to share my grow room with everyone. I will keep updating this thread with my improvements. I should have this room finished by the end of the weekend.

Right now I am bonzai'ing (if that's even a word) my moms so that I will be able to keep a perpetual harvest. I am also going to build a seperate movable veg room with my turbogarden based on a mobile DIY ebb and flow table by fuzygrowth.

My current strains in the mum room are:
  • Orange Diesel (Verite)
  • Lemon Stinky (Marijuana Matt)
  • Sweet tooth #3 (duh!)
  • WW x ISS (NYCD Fan 042)
I gotta say that I love the breeders and the plants that I'm growing. All looking like winners right now. Great vigor from the start. Sweet tooth #3 was the only slow starter but that is because it has been sitting around for a while. I will also add another strain or two after I get them germed. I'm waiting on them to come from one of my safe addies. Thanks to my buds for making and supplying those seeds. You know who you are!

Blah, Blah, Blah....I know....pics....

Hooking up Drain off. I used 1 1/2" Spa Flex PVC. I like the flexibility it gives me.

Hooking up Supply Lines. (3/4 ball valves and industrial high PSI hose)

All 16 buckets have drains in the bottom that are being plumbed in to lead back to the resevoir. Taking bigtokes advice on this one. It will make flushing a lot easier!

3/4 fitting for supply. 1 1/2 fitting for drain off

I have put my pump in the center of the table so that it distributes an even pressure to each side. The supply lines are shaped like an H. I also installed cutoffs in the right spots.

I have installed a drain that will allow me to hook up a garden hose and let the pump do all the work when I need to flush. Just connect the hose, turn on the pump, and done!

Going with 2-1000watt HPS hortilux eye bulbs inside cool tubes.

8 inch net baskets secured to the lids with 4 inch holes in the top.

I will probably throw some junk underneath for storage later.

Fitting everything into place.

supply lines with cutoffs. Always go with the ball valves.

My billy badass sequence pump. Lots of pressure and volume!

Drain will go through the rez lid. I don't want any contaminants dropping into the rez

top shot of rez

inside shot of rez. Valve for my 55 gal water reserve.

smoke break :rasta:

putting insulation on the buckets

installed a/c vent and door.

installed exhaust vent that leads to attic.

my 6 inch vortex wrapped in insulation. It leads to my ozone generator/duct muffler.

Thanks gotvape420! - I will have some more show and tell tonight. I've gotta do some other things around the house and then I will take another stab at fixing up my grow room some more. I'm glad to have you on board. I also take requests. If anyone wants any specifics or extra pics, just let me know.

I went to the store today and got some 45 degree 1 1/2" fittings for the drain off. I think it will be a little smoother that way.

The way I designed the supply and drain was very specific. I wanted the drain to be as close to the net basket as possible. By placing it a 1/2" away from the net basket inside the bucket most of the larger roots are prevented from making their way down into the drain off. I also went with 1 1/2" drains instead of the smaller sizes everyone else had to prevent any clogging.

My supply line leads to a 90 degree 3/4 bard fitting inside the buckets. This should send most of the water towards the bottom to prevent any dead spaces. If necessary I will add air stones to the buckets later. I'm gonna try to do it without the stones first run through.

More to come....

Damn Nubie, you certainly have come a long way over the past few weeks. That new set-up looks great, really fresh & clean! I cant wait to watch your girls maiden voyage in that new room. I have my front-row seats.

I'm slowly but surely getting a little closer to completion. I should be able to take another good chunk out of this project tomorrow.

Drain valves for flushing all the buckets getting plumbed in. Just have to add some 1 inch PVC and voila!

Getting close to finishing the electrical. (That's the easy part)

drain off completed. Looking good.

45 degree fittings attached

clean and well laid out. Looks like you dropped a few dimes on this to get it setup but hopefully it will pay off.

Thanks MPL ! Glad you stopped by.

irishSoCo - It took some time, planning, and lots of money. Let's hope it pays off once it's all said and done. I've followed a lot of your posts. You always put a smile on my face. Great cab you've got setup. I like the stealth setup.

Thanks for stopping in vhGhost.

I took a break from the flower room to upgrade my mother/clone/seedling room. I would call it a veg room but it's not. It's just where all my babies are getting their start....so I suppose I could call it my nursery. :jump:

Anyways...on to the pics.

Macro of my mum buckets air stone bubbling the nutes.

Filling up a mum bucket with DIY RO Filter Water. (It works great. Haven't had a pH issue since I started using the filter. I previously had to use tons of pH down which always made the pH unstable.)

I light proofed my cloner. I was seeing some algae formation in the last one I was using. I also got a slightly larger tub.

I'll try to get back to the flower room tonight and put some finishing touches on it.

Looks good man. Bio Buckects are really prone to root rot though so make sure you use a chiller. I've lost 2 whole crops to BB's and I don't like watchin others do the same. :fsu:
