shilajit is not bitumen, it is a oze that you find on metamorfosed clay rocks when the ice melts in spring. It contains over 60 minerals i collected some in nepal and also some in north off norway where i found some to my big surprise.
In india they say it is only fore pepol over 30 and is used as a mineral boost and belived to give the power off a young man. If you are under 30 it should only be taken if one has weak bones or have been in an accident and have to recover.
The amount taken is the size off a mung bean, dilutet in hot water or milk. I dont rember the correct amount but think it is 28 grams. When this dosis is eaten in indian tradition one should newer eat any more.
Newer eat raw shilajit it has to be pressure cooked and analysed fore nasty minerals with unwanted elements as heavy metals ect.
There is alot off miss use off shilajit and alof off mis information.

hi Brother , im Fahd Afridi , i am belong to place named as BARA KHYBER AGENCY , and my grand father village is Tirah .. your right i agree you i smoke hash too, i never toched alchohal because i hate it, never tried it but though hate it so much .. well i love hash and specially hash of TIRAH.. i can say its the best HASH made in da whole world.. what do u say brother..

I have been to the hash shops in Darra dimajones,used to go on occassion when I was living in Peshawar,the first thing you notice long before you arrive in the village is the amount of small arms fire,I used to visit the machine shops turning out AK's and similar weaponry,great times and very good people.

Look at the 7'th pic down,the one of the guy sitting holding an old russian ppsh41,see the three cylindrical objects on the piece of cloth near his legs?They are pen-pistols,they were made in both .22 and .25 calibre,single shot,they were the 170 rupees each back then,incredible place if you get the chance to visit.

Actually it is bitumen indeed, but a special type, resulting from the decomposition of specific plants.
Salamoona Afridi bahi ! tsenge ? kush e ? Be most welcome in this charsee forum. I like Tirah charas a very lot. I good score some high grade one in Peshawar and was a very strong material with potent sativa effect. smoking the gardah was too much stimulating & tense, but after hand-pressing it to charas it went went much smoother, but still with great stimulating properties. Tirah, I would love to visit this famous place !

Great pics! Is the hash wrapped in red plastic representative of a type or production region?
Back in the 80's almost all the hash in my area was either came with a gold seal border or had bits of red wrapper still attached. These were alway sold as distinct types; "red wrapper" or "gold seal".
