happy b day, such a young baby though,mornin campers...
well it snuck up on me,its my birfday today...51...not otherwise exciting except its a prime number...although that will also be true of 53 and 57...not surprisingly,no big plans...indeed its going to be yet another windy day,not even sure if i will bother with tuesday night ride,its a watering the garden night anyway...and i was thinking of working on getting the house and garden cleaned up...
well you know,50 is the new 40 whatever in the hell that means!
yup,worth every painful moment....i should be out riding right now but im waiting for someone who cant tell time...well,not waiting,i learned that lesson...i swapped out a bottom bracket on the ogre
hmmm,yeah,i guess im somehow getting more boring as i get older,i feel like i should do something today,but for the life of me nothing is coming to mind...so,i guess its just house stuff,got a pork tenderloin to cook later,so better get to doing something....maybe some more bong hits would help me decide!
alrighty,got something useful done,thinking its getting on towards nap-thirty...lol,i really have gotten boring,20 years ago i would have been on my bike doing the homer birthday bike challenge...start at the bar furthest from town,12 miles,and get your free birthday drink,ride to the next bar,repeat until you're on the spit 17 bars and 30 odd miles of riding later...never finished,got to the last bar and passed out before i got there one year,the other i wasnt as drunk,just so full of beer i said no more...or my 40th in amsterdam with a wallet full of cash and a pocket full of boner pills!
that was a day i can barely remember!!now....it just makes me tired even thinking about it!
im not bored,im boring...its impossible to be bored when you're boring you see

I hear ya jw. It gets a little dry around my house too. Doesn't seem that long ago that there was something going on every minute. Rest was something that comes when your dead. is that what I have to look forward to??? I'm only 59, but feel like I'm goin' on 90. Hell, this past winter I didn't even feel like playing in any local cribbage tournaments, however, I did do a few Texas Hold 'em tourney's @ our local casino because the prize money is huge on just a $10 buy-in.
aside from that I understand how you feel, my stroke in '05 changed my life for quite awhile. Although my doctors claim that I've recovered to about 92%, the complete lack of strength in my right arm is worrisome, the weakness in both of my legs (but especially the right) are also due to severe arthritis of the spine, arthritic knees which was all compounded by a work accident in '04.
I'm happy for you in that you have a good & kind lady to stand by you, as in those vows "in good times and in bad," whether you actually spoke them or not.......

I found the problem that was causing the leaves to dry on the edges. I use P35 as a preventative every 3 weeks. I forgot to shake the bottle before mixing up the last few batches. My old ass is forgetting shit I shouldn't be. I dont see my forgetfulness getting better as I get older.
