Its been really windy here too in the ANE. Went shad fishing on Sunday and it wasnt enjoyable. Stayed an hour and left. I did catch a 7 - 8+ pounder and if I had a liscence couldve won the shad derby. Thought about giving it to my kid to win the cash prize since the top spot was at 7.4 lbs. but thats lying, since I caught it, so I gave it to a russian and he probably won the cash prize. LOL!
Oh well. I had 6lb test on an ultralight setup. What a fight. Big current too so that was a battle and a half. Thought he was gonna either spool me or snap my line, but I kept changing the drag to go with what the fish was doing, and after about 10 mins I got him in.

i caught a 36lb king salmon on 17lb test line once..spooled me out 3 times, did every sort of crazy fish thing trying to get free...jumped,dove,tried to swim under the boat...i was using my thumb as a reel brake so it was shredded by the time we landed the fish, took 45+ minutes,i could barely hang onto the rod...we got 2 white king salmon that day too..what they call feeder kings, still living in salt water so only 3-4 years old so the meat is white and super fatty, best smoked salmon ever from white kings...

Shitty morning here my washer was running with about a pound of frosty larf and trim and the damn thing vibrated right off the counter crashed onto the kitchen floor and broke the top of the machine and dumped all the trich filled water on the floor. At this rate I'm in top running for genius of the year award lol

The only thing my bubble hash water did was make me mop the kitchen floor lmao. But I'll try that out next time with the drained water, presuming I use common sense next time:wallbash:

That's good news Joe.

Damn I hate it when equipment breaks.. I need another mag 9.5 Chiller pump. it stopped working sometime yesterday. It was used it did work for 4 years. That's a 100$ expense I was not ready for. I popped on a mag 12 witch is to much flow and adds a lot of heat to the rez. No choice the new pump wont be here until Friday..

Ya just can't get anything to last anymore. What's the world coming too.
How's the fishing joe?

It was ok. Got fucked with a sloppy pussy lol. The charter captain failed to mention he had taken up bow fishing charters at night. And just wasn't in it when he took us out in the day time. We did get a limit of speckled sea trout and a few red fish but I wanted a wide variety and he kept taking us to spots that I feel he knew we wouldn't do any good and called the day early. He did have us a bunch of stone crab claws when we got there but we had to boil them ourselves. I'll be on the hunt for a local that just wants to go fishing next trip. Maybe go to the fishing boards and find someone to trade a fishing trip for a duck hunting trip. I know a fella that has land in the duck hunting capital of the world. Just have to see what he wants in trade :smoke:

Looks like I need to start working on a building permit for a new barn. Doesn't sound like the wife is going to drop it. When she wants something she usually gets it. Thinking a 30x40x12. Plumbed with septic and all, should be able to tie into our existing drain field.

Two flower rooms each 8-10K should do it. Each about 12x20 leaving the other half of the space for drying and veg and mother room. The wife can keep her plant counts in our existing barn.

I wish I could do that. I would use different lighting for sure. There are some nice LED lights that are not pink and have the appropriate power to replace HID. Use a mix of those plus CMH. less heat, less power use, The same quality HID produces.

You guys ever end up with sticky fingers and hands after handling plants while doing garden work or other ways? Try washing your hands after that and they are still sticky. The other day I mixed some rubbing alcohol with the liquid hand soap. I had to do that twice, but then my hands where all sticky free.

I haven't been to the library in years. I'm sure my library card has been long expired. Been thinking about trying to brush up on my botany knowledge. Any one have any suggestions. There are things that I'd expect to not find at any public library in the USA, like hemp cultivation.

coconut oil is what i use when trimming, you need to massage it in to get all the resin off,but it does get it all off...then you jut wash your hands or let the coco oil soak in...olive oil also works...

got some bike work to deal with...the tires on the straggler arent tubeless ready so they are bleeding sealant out the sidewalls and leaking air,but theres a cheap solution...glitter!
so yeah,i got purple glitter for my unicorn puke colored bike!

the glitter acts to plug up those little micro holes in the tire sidewalls in case you were wondering...

somehow in spite of going shopping yesterday i still need to get groceries, and about time for some more medium,so i will see what the weather is doing before i decide where to ride today...
