Only seen one tick so far this spring, it was crawling up my leg the other morning. With two dogs I'm sure I'll be seeing more.

Pulled about 45 zips out of the bucket system, a bit disappointed but not too much, keeps the lights on. I should be able to pull 64 on a good run if not 70. Need a better veg setup like everyone else.

Ive come to the conclusion that I get roughly 12 - 14 ounces off 1x 600w hps lamp. I average about 20 grams a plant. I dont get the yields but I get that insane taste outa every strain I run. I bring out its best taste. Wish I could bring out its best yield. FFOF soil grows a hell of a tasty plant. Just wish it yielded better.

I get 24 - 28 ounces off 2x 600w lamps, and stuff as many plants as I can under them, without being too far away from center light.
I want a lb a light. I just cant get there. Maybe cause I grow too many dif strains at once for variety?
Next run Im doing all GG#4 under both lamps and see if I can get 32 ounces for once. If not, then I know its not me. I should get 1200 grams every harvest..... 1gpw. Thats 42.85 ounces.
Which means Im only getting 1/2 of what I should be getting.

You may not get great yields, but quality is always more important than quantity.

same old here...windy,getting hot,bike stuff,blah blah,squish,groceries....


anyway,think i finally have the parts to get the coolers going...also lit off the first volley in the annual battle against ants....i have nothing against ants...until they get in the house,then its game on...so long as they stay outside they can live their little lives,on the kitchen counter not so much!

just over 2 weeks on two lamps in flower...the plan is to set up 2 4x4 tents,there will be nothing else going on in that space so all the cool air from the swamp cooler will be for just 32sqft so should be good...thinking one 6 inch fan to vent the hoods,a 6 inch fan/filter in each tent,although i was thinking maybe an 8 inch ventilating/filtering the 2 tents hooked together with a 6 inch fan for fresh air coming from the cooler...easier since i dont need to buy anything except some more insulated ducting...
im thinking even when its cool enough to fire all 4 lamps up i may stick to tents and maybe get a 4x8 and the 2 4x4 tents and switch the ventilation around to keep the rooms warmer in the winter...probably something as simple as routing the waste heat from the lamps back into the building...gonna be tight in there but i think it will give me better temp control...

while you do get less out of a bucket of soil then you do a bucket of coco . i'm gonna say its the 600's . i ran them for most of my time growing & couldn't get over a LB per light till i stepped up to 1k watters . yeah its more heat to control & you'll need bigger fans to suck the heat out ..... but the yields & bud quality will make up for it !!! Believe me

i think your going to like how the tents help with the WPSF Unc ! an open room is nicer to work in .... but the WPSF drop quite a bit compared to a smaller room . your yields will go up i can 90% guarentee it . just means more time on your knees cleaning out the under brush & its harder to reach the back plants ..... but you being 6'5" tall , i imagine you have a pretty good stretch on them arms of yours lol

i have to agree with dan, i was uesing 400w 2 per room [800w],,then switched to 1000w & biger +more buds

ok,water line set up to both coolers and not leaking,waiting for the bottom of the coolers to fill up to see if the float valves are working,and then check to make sure the water pumps are working...this is the latest i can ever remember getting the coolers going...thats good considering it adds like 60-70 bucks a month to the bill...

so...a couple of weeks then harvest 2 lights worth,shut them down,get the tents set up,then 3 weeks to finish that round,by then the seed run will have sexed itself,and i have 10 clones in cups,need maybe 3 more cuts ready to go so i have at least 9 plants per tent...i have a screen for each tent so i should be able to keep things under control...just need to move veg into the spare bedroom,and i need to get a new flouro ballast for the t5's and replace that,may even break out the led lamp for extra space...

think i will start making bubble...got ice in the freezer so i can run a couple of batches,and almost done with the kief squishin,pretty disappointed in the yield i have to say,only like 40%...less even,not quite done but it just barely going to be a 1/2 oz from like 50 grams of dry sift....its really good looking rosin though...

Question for you guys, as i know absolutely zero when it comes to electrical. I currently run my 2 Gavita FLEXs and a few fans and whatnot.....i utilize the existing plugs in the room. When i crank the lights up to 750w, it trips the breaker occasionally so i just leave them at 600w and everything is fine. The breaker in the panel is 15amp. What can be done to run the lights at a higher wattage? Anything?

Amps x 100 = watts
So two 750's =1500
1500 divided by 100 = 15 amps
You need at least a 20 amp circut for those two lights only.

White lotus: you have to upgrade your circuit breakers to handle a heavier load capacity. 15 amps is not enough to run all that power.

Lotus,

Changing a breaker is not hard, but if possible I would turn off the main feed of the breaker panel so there will not be any power in there whilst you are working. Better yet, if you know someone just let them do it.

Power (watts) =Current (amps) x Voltage (volts)
Amps = power / volts
amps = 1500 watts /120 volts
amps = 12.5 for the two lights

Yeah ^^^ for sure turn it off!!! On my breaker box there is a switch that cuts off ALL power.
And it's not that hard to upgrade your breaker box. White lotus, If you decide to upgrade it pm me and I'll walk you through it so you don't electrocute yourself or burn the place down.

I know everyone is trying to help, BUT, Whatever you do:

DO NOT just swap out your 15A breaker to a 20A breaker unless you determine for certain that the circuit is entirely wired with 12/2 plus ground romex cable or the equivalent.
