Haha to cold. The other day it was 28 degrees out and i was working in a tee shirt and jeans with a knit hat on. The siders looked at me and started laughing. There was steam coming off my hat I was so sweaty from being hot.

The neighbors grandson sits out side in a t-shirt and sweet pants, smoking cigs year round. Some times its a tank top. In winter it can be near zero or bellow zero and he's sitting out there smoking away like its not even cold at all.

Nah I will just get a pasty.

I detest gravy. I am more of a plain type eater. Salt onions garlic are pretty much what I use to season. Plus correctly cooking something to bring out its flavor. Like your chicken stock. Or browning meat with out drying it to leather.

I am perfectly happy with a piece of meat cooked correctly with some buttered and salted veggies. No gravy sauce or any of that crap.

If I want a tomato I dont need it pulverized and have a ton of sugar added to it so I can put it on a burger. Just slice it up and add some lettuce and a slice of cheese. My burger is done.

Same with a salad. No dressings. If I want salad dressings why add all the veggies. Most of the time I just pick the salad apart and eat the different veggies by themselves.

I eat just about everything in its plain state. Right from the garden or butcher. Lots of flavor if you dont burn out your taste buds.

We had a solid 7" snow. Was out plowing and as the morning was starting to get light I see something up ahead. Can't make out wtf is going on so I slow down. It's a dude on a bike with fat tires, in the spandex stuff hauling ass!!!???!! This guy was out biking on a lonely country road through snow, slush, ice like a champ.

Going to buy that dude a beer if I ever meet him. What stones to even attempt that at 18 degrees with a stout wind.

Hope everyone is as well as can be.

I did 19 rail trail miles while it was snowing just a few nights ago. I don't own a fat bike yet (next fall) It was a great ride. My gear keeps me warm until about 25 degrees. Then I find myself thinking I'm going to drop the cash on better gear before next winter.

It's especially fun to ride single-track mountain bike trails first thing in the morning and be the first set of track through the woods.

:tumbleweed:mornin campers...spent some time tossing and turning last night...so up kinda late today...not much to do in the garden today aside from water...so a quick ride then back to the grind...got a lot of the cherry cookies pre-trimmed last night...
and got some test results from the garden,no new plant herpes hplv or whatever it is...previous test were false positives...so good news there

:mopper:looks like i'm cleaning instead of going for a ride...never stop grinding...

onto the next task, since no one is paying me to ride bikes probably the better choice...
