So I came in from shoveling the driveway took my coat hat and gloves off. Then gave my wife a kiss. Then she backed up up and said OMG as she was wiping all the water off that I left on her face. I forgot when I came in my beard was full of ice. But she didn't know because it had melted.
ya my beard gets wild when out especially after a day of ice fishing. stalactites hanging the perch/crappie dinner well worth it
Cricket got ill again yesterday, Dr said he has a slipped disk.. His back legs are not working. If no improvement he will prob need surgery. Got a bunch of meds, so at least he isn't in pain. The hardest part of our furry family is when they get sick and we have to say goodbye. I'll need to see if he can still have a good life without being able to walk.

a little doggy drama going on here...one of the girls i ride with,her ex hubby and she were splitting having the dog,but asshole has decided he's keeping the dog against their agreement...everyone loves the dog,he's a good boy,very mellow,just a super handsome dog...anyway....it's not cold here,no snotcicles or frozen beards,just free vitamin d and shorts weather!

Animals bring out the best of us for most people. It will never get any easier when there in distress. I did my best to give him his best life. Dozer and crickets breeders did not use the good genes to breed with. It's why I lost Dozer and why Cricket is ill. The Dr told me I shouldn't breed Cricket for that reason.
afternoon campers...yup,heartbreaking when they don't feel good,so hard to see them suffer...so i was looking at craigs list yesterday and a full squish carbon fiber frame bike was listed for an outrageously cheap price,like so cheap i suspect it might be stolen...at any rate,trying to snap it up and check to see if it's stolen...if not,then even though the frame is too small for me the parts alone are worth far more than the asking price...and even if i strip the parts off the frame and shock/fork are still worth more than the asking price...going to call the bike shop in a second and see if they got broken into or have heard anything about it...
long story short,i may have another bike today...
My dog is at the vet right now. She has scratched one eye raw. She is probably getting the cone of shame and antibiotics. We put the cone on her but she can't walk. She keep catching it on the floor because she looks down when walking.
