Weve been rec legal here for like 4-5 years now. From what ive seen the legal prices are very high 50- 60 for a eight. People line up for it at the stores. The street prices seem to have gone down and down with legalization. Theres alot of weed on the street not saying its good but alot of it is cheap. To get good street prices seems to be getting tuffer and tuffer. Doesnt really make sense to me but just my observation...

I'm not pointing any fingers but the illegal/legal Chinese grows here are driving prices down on both sides. Lucky to get 1800

Few weeks ago I asked the guy at the bike shop if he would let me know if anything good for my growing 12 year old. He says wait a minute and brought out an older 17in specialized hard rock with no tires. Said he just paid 50 for it and would pass on the deal to me. He was going to get it cleaned up and sell it for 200. I bought it and put it in the garage. Finally got around to putting some tires on it and really giving it a better look. Looks like the shop had already replaced all the cables and not even cut the ends off yet,. New brake pads. Still needs a new chain and the cassette cleaned up and some grips. As of now it is only about a $90 bike. Hopefully this gets him through until confident he won't just grow out of it and I get him a nicer bike....

prices really don’t concern me but I find it interesting…..have read on IG of some thinking ending down as low as $500/lb in Cali? this cannot be real?
then you have the east coast prices,
snd at the same time our new vendor gets $450/oz?

I dunno 🤷‍♂️

Been a while since I've seen side pull brakes. I was just looking at some V brakes remembering what an improvement they were.
I remember riding some trails in Colorado we would have to stop and adjust our brakes halfway down the mountain because we had already stretched the cables. Looking back my braking technique was not exactly well thought put back then. Probably should have watched more pros explain things on YouTube if there had been such a thing.

for the fuji...the rear brake spring is losing it's spring if that makes sense...the 41 year old brakes work surprisingly well, the rear one refuses to re-center though...but no way i would want to mountain bike on rim brakes anymore....disc brakes work so much better...

and pray you dont need to replace many parts on that bike, the older stuff isn't easy to find...rivendale bikes is a good spot to find older style parts

Morning all.
Amish crew was here at 6:45 this morning so I’ve been up for a bit. Sun wasn’t even up yet and they were digging for my concrete rat walls.
Should have it buttoned up by the end of the day but concrete won’t be poured till Monday.

:tumbleweed:afternoon campers...another day of garden chores...should be easy today, just some clones to stick in rr's,just watering aside from that...so probably do some trimming...only 27 more plants to trim!
