yup,gonna need more stakes...just ran out....also zip ties...one more room to go....more zip ties to put in....then a quick half hour of trimming and i can call it a day....which is french for vape until my brain is gooey
I used to use zip ties on the stakes but find the vine clips lots better imo.

i didn't like the clips,wouldn't stay high enough on the stems without crushing buds
tie a string down low on one stake and then wrap the plant in circles & lasso the darn thing all the way to the top (Dominican Green showed me that trick)
I wish there was something that worked like trellis and still let you move plants around like you can with stakes. Trellised buds seem to weigh more and aside from not being able to move plants I would say trellis is the way to go. Until you are on a ladder reaching over the canopy trying to remove leave in that super hard to get to spot. Add a second layer of trellis. Even more challenging. I've considered making separate trellis for each plant but I don't really picture moving them around to br at all convenient.

I liked the screens with lower wattage horizontal grows 3x3 or smaller, but beyond arm's length was a bit of an ass pain. Not to mention, harvest was quite a bit more challenging. The buds were plentiful, and all equally top shelf though.
I now prefer the high density SOG, a bit more work, but you can get very thorough with defoliation and pruning so all are single big cola. I hate trimming big, branchy plants- especially ones that have been trained horizontally. The irregular, flat growth pattern seems to make it extra difficult for me, and quickly becomes a wrist breaker.

next time i build a grow room it will have two things....hookers and blackjack
mornin campers...an exciting day of trimming today...i would like to at least get the 2x4 tent run done and then pre-trim some from the main room...gonna take a bit to get all this done...

almost done with the harvest from the 2x4....some chonkers in this round...definitely over 250 grams so far...got maybe a dozen branches left to go...I figured when you mentioned gambling in one post and then some good ole grateful dead on the next you were gambling with the possibility of Unc using his ban hammer for posting good songs in his thread.

done with the tent harvest....337 grams from i think 250 watts....1.3 grams per watt....not too bad...
