:tumbleweed:mornin campers...

wasn't much of a snow event yesterday...and temps will be in the 50's by tomorrow...must be about time to fire up the swamp coolers again!

:bigeye:ok,maybe a little early for that, but there's a fair chance that was the last cold snap of the year already...

so,last week we had 4 people from out of town start the monumental loop including someone who has finished the tour divide,a 2700 mile mountain bike race starting in canada and ending at the mexican border as well as many rides of the dirty kanza,a 200 mile dirt/mud road ride in kansas...at any rate, somewhat of a badass...

the toll, one broken arm,so 2 guys abandon on the first day,the other two left a couple days later, got 2 days, and about 110 miles into the route and abandoned their attempt...one of our local badass ladies was riding along with them on her second trip around the loop...

so i'm thinking i will do a fast and dirty version of the monumental loop next year...no camping,i would ride about half the northern section the first day,get a motel room, then power out the second half the next day and be back in town so stay at home, then another night in a hotel, and back to town on the 4th day...
basically 75 miles a day,no camping gear wearing the bike down, probably be able to get away with just 4 water bottles and a fanny pack for food...

:freezing: still a wee bit chilly out...time to get bundled up enough to ride...

trying to average 20 miles a day and at least 5000 feet of climbing per week this year...only managed 5058 miles and 178,000 feet of climbing last year and i would like to hit 7500 miles and 250,000 feet this year...

still have some local bucket list rides to knock off,and i still need to do my first 100 mile day so plenty to keep me busy this year...

and need to stop at wallyworld today, then some exciting pot scrubbing to round out the afternoon...

Its def cold here as well. Veg room is at 80f at 9pm. By 6am its down to 74f with the heater left on high all night.

I keep doing these damn germ tests on FCM and every time I do them I have no issues. This is germ test #7. After 36hrs 19 have good tails. If I did the math right its at 70.4%. 8:27*100%=29.6% The last 8 seeds all cracked but I need to see growth from those before I can add them in. Some of those 8 will def grow longer tails from what I see.

Might be a form of Guttation. That typically happens on flowers not the stem.

I never get tired of the terps from NEM. Gotta bump her when im in the flower room.

NEM is a great Sativa. She will produce great yields of solid flowers. That plant above is almost ready to come down.

I will be making FB#18 x Orange Cookies. FB#18 is a killer Pheno. Id be surprised if I find a better version. I do have a few more to check out.

Looks like hammer nailed it.

Thought it might be sugar secretion from high brix. Look up high brix gardening when you have time. Interesting stuff.

That gbbx is from dans selection of the gorilla bubble f1s i made. He popped some and selected males for his back cross to gg4. Nice one. You got a little piece of dan with ya brutha. I have a few of his seeds too.

I went in and took a few more pictures of the vert flower room I have been posting. I have not taken any pictures of the Pre 98 Bubba Kush.

The first is a Pre 98 bud close up. Just above it is some CBanana that was pulled out to catch the light. You can see how pale the leaf is. This is day 39 of flower.

The second picture is the gap I said that I did not get filled in correctly. I mentioned this earlier when I was asked about the vert style of growing. Anyway both of these pictures are taken threw my LED lights at day 39 of flower.

How many days approx is that pictured plant in flower?

I agree on the smell on that NEM, very sour dub like to me. Tastes like it smells too, down to the roach.
Ran ten of her sisters and seven were pretty similar to NEM, and the other three had stronger variation.
Still evaluating which one I like the best, along with eight of the sour sunset x c Banana.
The rosin from these plants is impressive

Pretty much all of the DBHM are winners. Ive only got one that came out with OGMango terps. The Sour Dubb phenos are pretty bomb. One DBMH pheno came out with some exotic purple like terps. Not real purple though, but very classy. Got five seeds left. I kept the Mango, and purple phenos. I think there are some dub phenos still outside though. Those are the heavier budded plants. All of them are strong. All have good flavor

Glad your doing better Gano. My ex wife used to have seizures and it was scary.
It would take a few days to recover and for the soreness to go away.
I was always nervous about her having one while driving. Get some good rest and let those muscles recover.

60 days. I will take her at 70 days. Its one of those plants people like to smoke. Potency isn't bad at 20%. She is on her way out here. I've grown her long enough. I will make some NEM X Orange cookies while I'm using the Orange cookie male. Than shes gonna go. The selection I made in Sdubb s2 is what was used in DBMH. Very little variation within the sdubb s2. As close to the Original sdubb as I could get. When I get to the SDS3 version I assume those will have even less variation. I doubt I would need to go passed SDS4 to get to IBL.
