weird day...supposed to be hot but now its trying to rain..of course its because im finishing up watering the yard and wanting to ride the freshly washed krampus....

taking the opportunity to get some yard stuff done while its cloudy...still need to change the pads on the back cooler,really made the house cooler work well,of course its humid today so not working as well...

ah,summer in the desert...im trying to remember the cold days in the winter when i wanted it to be warmer!

sweet,just enough pad stuff on the roll for both coolers...suns trying to peek out but its strangely humid today....off to home despot in a bit,need the belt and some more simple green to soak glassware in,about time for more salt for bong cleaning as well...

I soak my glass pipes in a tub of 91% ISO to clean

remember,only the stuff in the gallon jug with the green label that says concentrated works,and its not quick,really gunked up pipes will take a few days,but it does get even the gunkiest of bongs and pipes clean...

plus its a good bike degreaser it turns out,and it can help a tire pop out to the bead more easily...

speaking of which,need to clean the straggler up and get the chain relubed and give it a checkover after the ride the other day,got to keep it in tip top shape..turned out to be an awesome bike for a spare parts build...

I have a canning jar I have filled with 91% ISO that I soak my pipes in to clean them. Depending on how bad the build up is inside the pipe depends on how long they need to soak for.

If it's just the bowl that's caked up you can take a lighter and tooth pick to scrape the resin out of the bowl. Take your lighter and flame the bowl, hold the bowl upside down when flaming the resin filled bowl, flame the end of the tooth pick for 1 second and scrape the bowl with the tooth pick. When the resin is hot from flaming it becomes soft and can be scraped away with ease!

I've since switched over to using an alcohol lamp instead of burning up my lighters. After the bowl has been scraped of excess build up, I flame the bowl and with some toilet paper the bowl wipes clean. It looks clean and has that fresh clean taste of a clean pipe. 60 seconds or so and you have a clean pipe, on the outside. It works, I'm serious!

its not the outside or the bowls that clog up on me , its the inner stems & chambers . i've had a couple bowls soaked in ISO for over a week a few times & they come clean , but not really clean , especially on the inside chambers .

The perfect spoon is worth it's weight in gold! Bowl size, hole size, shape, shotgun shape and position, intake or smoke exit (I tried not to say mouth hole) and cleanability. Oh and if you can get all that and fit in a pocket inconspicuously

i've had a couple bowls soaked in ISO for over a week a few times & they come clean , but not really clean , especially on the inside chambers .

You just have to plug the holes and shake it with a little liquid inside (after soaking the pipe) of the pipe a few times to break up the chunks.

managed to get a bunch done today at least,even got some pipes cleaned and a bunch more stuff soaking,a couple more bongs and a few days soaking i should be close to having all the glass clean..

straggler got cleaned up...thats just one fine looking bike,really crushes hills...

Just be very careful if you have any labels/logos etc. when using acetone, it does a wonderful job removing them!

I have a cheap Greenbudha ash catcher with there logo. Its been cleaned many times with Acetone so far it wont come off. I tried to get it off dont like the logo.

Speaking of getting things done my wife is complaining about trim being on the couch. Some thing about using up all her lint rollers to clean up what somebody rolled in.

Wait till I wash the grow bags I found. After the last trash can full leaving all that coco in the washer and dryer I will have to be more careful with this trash bag full. Dont think I can play dumb and get away with it this time.
