A few Purple Urkles

A buddy of mine picked these up from a club for me. They were not in very good health when I got them but they seem to be doing fine now. They vegged for 45 days or so... a slow grower in veg it seems like.

I tied them over some to expose more shoots to the light and these things are DENSE!

Both of em are supposedly Urkle but since they came from the club who knows for sure? The 2 look similar but are acting a bit different. Any comments and/or tips from guys with knowledge of these plants are very welcome!

This pic was taken about 7 days in flower. The one on the left has been stretching a bit while the shorty on the right has barely stretched

nice shots, and those are some very nicely trained plants, the shorter plant looks fantastic, great canopy.

From what I understand, if it's the "real deal" Purple Urkle, you should be able to tell after just a hit or two. Never had the pleasure myself but all the Humboldt boys sing her praises!

she is a good smoke no doubt great for the daytime smokes. stops the pain but doesnt stop you.


personally, i like the urkle x bigbud(grandad purp) the most so far....lots faster in veg, more stretch in flower...same dankness...

These 2 are different so I'm wunderin if one is GDP and the other is urkle. The shorty is very dense, no stretch and the buds are forming super tight.

The other has stretched and has similarities to the short but definately diff.

Pics are way better than words.... I'll have some up tomorrow and maybe some of ya can help identify them

he will know at around week 5-6 of flowering ( start of purple leafs )
and yes 1 hit u know.........

but befor that the smell will let u know it starts "reeking" at the sametime as the purp kix in

Whats shakin GCG... My bud found em at Hayward. I've been lookin all around and kept missin them by a few days "ya should have been in yesterday".. lol. Don't know how many times I heard that. I had my friend on the lookout too as he's the type that keeps the clubs in biz..

GCG- yeah, pretty sure that was the place. When I got them I neemed em right away and have not seen any pm on them at all. I do have some nycd also and within a few days the d'z did powder up. I can't say for sure if the urkle brought it with them but I'll tell you they are very resistant to PM. The nycd power up very easily and they are in the same room.

Sorry to hear that GroNut. I hope the NYCD is alright because i grew some out last year from BPG and it was the total bomb.
