I made the selection from regular seeds.. I have never tried feminized but have read lots of bad things about them so I'd rather do it the hard way. I had 6 females to choose from out of the 10, all slightly different but ended up choosing this one because it had a combination of the features. one was really dense and didn't foxtail, then I had one or two that were much more on the white widow side, lanky stems, lots of stretch, etc. this pheno seemed to have the best balance. also it was the only one that tinged purple on the calyxes

hope that helps

BIg up, i think you made a good choice it looks sweet with the purpel calyxes :dance013:

Nice one

the smell is very strong. from far away it is very skunky, pretty typical 'dank' smell. up close the kerosene smell starts to come through, and squeezing or touching the buds it smells like orange/kerosene/candy with a hint of skunk

not bad to trim but definitely not the easiest. lots of little leaves, you cant just sweep the scissors around and take off multiple leaves at once, with all the foxtails it became pretty tedious. took me 8 hrs to trim the table

here is some closeup shots i took while trimming

Appearance: 4/10 - bag appeal 9/10 while growing. they looked great but dried down to practically nothing. besides the top nugs, most of it looks schwaggy.

Yield: 5/10 - Probably could have done better but even the top buds arent very heavy

Smell: 10/10 - After the first day of jaring it is almost sickening opening them because it reeks of rotten fruit, mainly oranges. Upon squeezing and handling, the skunk hits your nose. Quite unusual.

Taste: 7/10 - The taste isn't anything like what it smells like, well at least yet, it will probably come through more with the cure. but you can tell as soon as you smoke it that theres lots of thc, the thc burn... has almost a menthol property to it but not quite that far, cool and refreshing

High: 9.5/10 - This stuff is some great smoke. I harvested them about 10-15% amber and its a real quick hitter. Strong stuff, and it gives me the munchies like crazy. Everything you would expect from WW X NL a nice balance between a sativa up high and the NL.

Overall: 7/10 - Although this is good, the buds just didn't weigh out at all. I have come to the decision to not grow this strain again. My veg room has been crowded, under 2 small t5, and it was the original plan from the beginning, to narrow it down to maybe 2-3 great strains. That's not to say that this isn't a great plant, ESPECIALLY for the price.

In retrospect, I really should have kept the indica pheno, but the purple calyxes on this pheno grabbed my attention at the end. I was hoping it was going to weigh out but it just didn't come through.

good plant overall, but my c99, blue moon rocks, and sour grape are better overall. sorry chrystal! :thank you:
