99.99999 Pure dry Sift

hey,
tell me if i'm wrong but 10g from 1kg isn't 10%, 10% would be 10g from 100g, 1kg is 1000g, so 10g from 1kg is 1%.
my 2 cent,
bye

After hearing what HMK does, I think the following is Sam's secret dry sifting method..here's what happened

decades ago, in West Africa, Sam was inside his hotel room with a kilo of rough, unpressed dry sifted hash sitting in a big pile on the glass coffee table ..... by accident he switched on the fan and almost all of the hash was scattered everywhere, except for a very small amount of very pure resin heads that remained on the table...so now we know!

the big question now is was it an overhead, wall mounted or free-standing fan? and on what speed was it on? questions, questions! lol

I want photos if anyone try's this, not of the hash blown all over the room.
Of the persons face when he does it and realizes there must be a better way.
I always use santana winds, put a kilo of dry sift resin on the table outdoors on a windy day and WoW, LOL...

BurmeseDragon,
I get about 10 grams from a kilo, 1%. 10% is what I get when I grind up a whole plant, 10% crude farmers hash, then I clean it up to 1%.

i also used this process many times miself with friends and farmers in Maroc too, this is how: For 120kilos of not too seedys and well dried selected plants ( by myself everytime) we pull the stems and the small branches out and we have around 100kilos or so of relatively clean crushed dried buds.

with this crushed dried buds we work for 2 evenings and nights ( sometime 4, sometime 6 people are working including me) to make around 8 nice kilos of first quality morroccan. we usually keep 2 kilos of that stuff just cold pressed in 8x250gr small bricks and re-sift slowly and softly the other 6 kilos to separe around 800gms from these 6kilos of first class hash. this product is called by the farmers in the north-east Maroc "Sum" . sure the word don't spell like that but the sound is "sum" and it means snake spit or spittle.
sometime people calls it "Medecine" or "King hashish" but it's only sift-purified good hash powder.
normaly, i make iso with the 5 kilos of good hash that left after the second sift. i have to do it to carry it as hash is so big in volume, even hot pressed compared to oil.
i take around a 1.5 liter of dark brown redish iso oil from these 5k and often give a 100's gram to the farmer.

about the double sifted hash,i don't know if it melt at 80% or 60% but i can say it blow your mind at 100% and make you don't sleep without problem and go to work or eat everything in your fridge after half a joint.

Cheers.

ya probably push air through the dry sieve so that only the heavy stuff remains. or it may be like gold panning... I will bet money though that it has to do with the difference in weight between resin heads and plant matter. All the people complaining about the method being secret should work on how to do it instead of complaining. Only a mere 10 or 11 years ago all we had was our secrets some of us have harder times letting go of them. Bubbleman those are some insane pics thanks for sharing.

Going with this same train of thought.....

Continue with the knowledge that the following concept is a shot in the dark and that I am not an expert in centrifuge technology.

"Gas centrifuges are used in uranium enrichment. The heavier isotope of uranium (uranium-238) in the uranium hexafluoride gas tend to concentrate at the walls of the centrifuge as it spins, while the desired uranium-235 isotope is extracted and concentrated with a scoop selectively placed inside the centrifuge. It takes many thousands of centrifuges to enrich uranium enough for use in a nuclear reactor (around 3.5% enrichment), and many thousands more to enrich it to weapons-grade (around 90% enrichment) for use in nuclear weapons." hxxp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centrifuge

So if the "99.99999 Pure dry Sift" is different in weight from the other dry sift, one could isolate the "99.99999 Pure dry Sift" in a centrifuge.

:1help:So who's going to weigh these resin heads?:1help:

If Sam invented the method in a West African Hotel Room I highly doubt there were centrifuges or any fancy equipment involved.

I always thought the process would be to screen it 3 times or more through increasingly finer screens then to use an electrostatic wand to remove any remaining contaminant. I would expect Sam produces the 10% grade with a motorised screen (not a tumbler, a flat screen with a motor attached that shakes the screen by use of a eccentric flywheel and the cleaning to 1% is done by hand very gently.

An electrostatic wand can be as simple as a perspex or acrylic rod that you charge by rubbing it with a piece of cloth.

If Sam's method isn't a simple multiple screening plus electrostatic wand, then I reckon it will use the differing weights of the trichomes and plant matter as someone speculated, although I would expect using a fan would just blow the trichomes all over the place.

The key is in how he goes from 10% grade to 1% I reckon.

Sam, what amount of difference is there between your 1% grade and the very clean (but not perfectly clean) grade that is simple to make using a fine screen and a light tapping action (no carding or vigourous rubbing). I usually estimate my yield when doing a light tapping for 5 mins max as 2-4%, this is just to make a special high grade for special occasions, after I have taped lightly on the screen with just two fingertips for 5 mins to make that grade, I get a piece of plastic like a credit card and card the material to produce a lesser grade.

Hello all,
I have been trying to figure a way to automate the dry sift extraction so I could sell a patented machine for a few hundred bucks that would allow anyone to make dry sift hash of the same quality. All you need is a great clone for the resin, and my secret method, as long as you don't care if the yields are 1%, you could use all the 99% trash and reprocess it for water hash or oil.
Very happy to hear this, I will most definitly buy one of your machines...I assume it wont be too big or noisy?

you put for example a wooden sheet on top of a speaker (speaker laying flat on the ground facing upwards), then begin going through all the different frequencies (that's when you see the different shapes/seperations beginning to happen), probably need to use a good sized boombox or subwoofer, very cool to look at:yes:
