I thought the real chem 91 dosent yellow up ?

that pic is loompas headband, i have another pheno that didnt express the autumn colors.. that pheno i call the mutant pheno and is the one that tasted like pure fuel

ok, good to hear. dj short has talked about 'floral qualities' of herb - not that it smells like flowers, but that 'floral' in that is tastes like it smells. to taste something thats not in the smell opens up the picture of whats going on.

edit: guess it just means to grow more chem hybrids till i find it!

Hey backyard farmer I don't think it was ruined. I understand your lament though. I was more interested in the "this is 91 Chem" not "where did the chems come from" thread.

It is cool to read about the history but once someone basically says "this is everything I know" the questions could stop. Why keep beating a dead horse.

IMHO this thread is still cool. Ole Dog should feel proud that after all these years he still peaks people's interest.

Don't think there has been a lack of respect...the respect is everyone and their dog wanting to ask source/real deal/etc. Questions/imitation are great source of flattery or in this case admiration.

It would be nice if the thread stuck to chem 91 and 91 hybrids, it starts getting a bit ridiculous when ppl start posting stuff that has nothing to do with the topic. Thing is Chem 91 is kind of a narrow topic, it's a rare cut and there's not many hybrids out there made with it, so you run out of shit to talk about pretty quick.

The most like diesel tasting cross i've inhaled was alpha diesel by rezdog,, none of the sd cuts or anything else ive ever smoked thus far has come close for an actual real and pretty much pure diesel taste/smell for me,, shame i didn't know at the time those girls were anything special..

They had no lemons and no real chemmy skunky arena tones just really diesel vapours which was kinda like an alcoholic herby/creamy smell/taste in a way so i guess similar to chem dog in that respect but still very different..

i need to grow something with chem91 in to see what that's like..

To me it has been. It was Good Ole Dog's thread about a plant he's been tending for over 20 years..It hasn't been since about page 10

Right!! Good Ole Dog got the plant 4 years after the show in 1991 by his own account , and even though he was at that show in Deer Creek didn't see any of the bud. Joe Brand doesn't have any idea what it was back then and what makes you think after 25 years he's going to know now!! Let's just be happy guys like Good Ole Dog preserved the ORIGINAL CHEMDOG clone for 23 years

Are you serious? Every single person who has posted some hack shack hybrid or asked "IS THIS THE CUT BRO!?!" Have disrespected Good Ole Dog...If you read the guys posts you'll see how few people he gave the cut to..In order to know if you have the same cut or not, ask yourself "Do I know some one that got the cut DIRECT?" If the answer is no...Then you probably don't have it...If you do have it with out being able to answer that question, the way you got it was through broken promises and lies...IE., Joe Brand getting the cut from two persons removed from Good Ole Dog and letting his mook of worker Bageled J pass it and numerous other strains out in order to be cool on the internet.
