90s (Super) Skunk

The VA. climate was perfect for skunk and I still hold a Skunk. View attachment 19167708 I don't think this one is pure. But is dominant in every way. I love old Skunk and this has the Royal Skunk in it that came from Gypsy and Sam.

Is it skunky? Taste like skunk, and leave the smell in the air after smoking it?

IMO, if it doesn't also taste like skunk, it isn't skunk.

It looks, smells and tastes like the Skunk#1 Gypsy gave out 2001-2002. I'm smoking a skunky skunk right now that is Afghanis x Mexican ( Oaxacan pretty sure ).

Yes. The story of those seeds is little known. They were old when they were given out for free by Gypsy. There are old threads here about it. One in particular is very good. It was richly sweet and gassy and more. I crossed it to a astringent funky NL/ Afghan and it made the most beautiful honeysuckle,etc...sweet cross. Better than both parents. The skunk was not the sweetest thing in the patch but just incredible. The pure was the best. I'd try to source it but it just wouldn't be the same.
That genetic was the source. That was master root file stuff.A building block of today's genetics. No skunky skunk will ever replace it in my mind. The I- IV- V.

I smoked the Mass. Super Skunk with the original cut taker in 1992. It was effing great.

Have these skunks at 2 different locations already so I don't lose them. Going to flower these and verify them first. I'll keep updating along the grow.

Once I know for sure the smell and smoke is legit, I'd imagine a lot of people will want them. So we'll have to figure that out when the time comes but I will absolutely keep you in mind to be one of the first in line!
