The sheriff told me " the zip ties will just keep us from cutting your plants if we show up and your not home"

They cut a few of my folks and said "sorry we didn't see the zip ties before we cut them"

They were home.

A neighbor was told their plants were too big and that they were drawing too much water and were "asked" to either cut them back or cut a few out.

I would imagine a little zip tie is hard to see on a big plant. I also imagine they weren't all that sorry either.

Section 9.31.070 "Zip-Tie" Provision.
(A) For the convenience of the property owner and to assist in the
enforcement of this Ordinance, and to avoid unnecessary confiscation and
destruction of medicinal marijuana plants, marijuana grown for medicinal
purposes in unincorporated Mendocino County may have “zip-ties” issued by the
Mendocino County Sheriff’s Department. For proper identification, such “zip-ties”
should be securely attached to the base of individual flowering marijuana plants.
(B) “Zip-Ties” can be obtained through the Mendocino County Sheriff’s
Department. All applicants for “zip-ties” must present a State-issued medical
marijuana identification card or a valid medical recommendation. The fee for the
“zip-ties” shall be set by the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors in
accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and the Master Fee Policy.
Any zip-tie fees may be discounted by fifty percent (50%) for Medi-Cal, SSI, and
CMSP recipients, and equivalent income-qualified veterans.

I beg to differ, my folks in mendo got hassled even with 25 , no zip ties though. After they went down and bought their 25 ties, and replanted they haven't had another issue

They say the zip it aid in any confusion. I think that just means they don't want to verify your medi

Was it the Sheriff or another agency that cut the plants?

They have not made it out my way yet.

Your garden looks great, my goal is to garden more like you next year. I don't want to be a tall blade of grass, shit has been nuts out there.

Hey Mendo I found your amendments list from last years thread. I was wondering if you recall the
amounts you used per 800 gallon pot, or if you know of a place I can look them up. Many thanks
for any insight. I figured if I am going to copy a recipe it should be from a guy who has not posted
a pic with a sick leaf in two seasons.

Oyster Shell Flour
Trace Mineral Additive
Azomite*Powder
Glacial Rock Dust
Jersey Greensand
Lime
Nitrogen Bat
Nitrogen Seabird Guano
Alfalfa Meal
Blood Meal
Bone Meal
Diatomaceous earth

WOW man, as usual your garden is lookin beautiful!!!

your plants are a work of art. everything looks absolutely perfect!!!

I cant wait the show unfold over the rest of the season!!!

That sucks, sorry for your friends.

Do you think their grow fell into the nuance clause?

They must live in Brook trails, Ukiah or some other populated area.

I cant imagine the sheriff ever getting to where I'm at.

They live in Wildwood if you're familiar...Definitely not 'In Town'

They had 25 just no zip ties so they chopped it and according to their rules , no zip tie even with a medi can result in a chopping

If you look at Ordinance 4291 and Regulations 9.31 on the Sheriff's website it says nothing about zip ties being required. They are optional.
