Evening after the sun is off the leafs.
I have laid off folliar's this season compared to last.
I was spraying every week last year.
Was thinkin I should do something soon since its been weeks since I did anything.

I have some stuff called Serenade, OMRI listed, that is intended for black spot and powdery mildew. It is just a bacillus strain in liquid. The idea is that the bacillus will attack or crowd out any fungus that tries to colonize the plant where it was sprayed on. Definitely preventive, it kept the pm in check on my pumpkins but didn't eliminate what had already developed in past years when I had used it.

Was out in the gardens last night.
WOW, the blue dream x mendo dream's are at 10' and its July 1.
Last week I put some outer cages on those.
I cant wait till October should be fun.
The GSC x mendo dreams are nice too at around 8 feet tall now.
Cant wait to see the buds on those.
And another GSC s1 is really doing well, tall and wide, 8' x 7' now.
everything else is jammin.
All tho the Bubba x Sky s1 is still lagging, I knew I should have pulled it, I'm going to regreat not doing what my instincts told me to do, Oh well Its growing but looks like a runt compared to others.
I'm sure the quality will make up for it!

very impressive and beautiful thread ,have you ever tried straight milk foliar spray for the mildew.
Its been forever ago but yes, and it didn't work that well.

mendo, doing any compost teas or Actinovate yet?
I used some tea last week, for the 3rd time this season.
I was going to use Actinovate on the 800's tonight.
I was not sure if I should wait another month or two.
May be I will just wait.
The girls are doing just fine!

Last week I used some Actinovate on the 45 gallons.
The plants in the 45's have no PM at this stage of the game.
I've been hitting the 45's pretty hard with nutrients.
They love it!

the actinovate is supposed to last up to 12 months in the soil so I treated my plants with it few days ago. i threw it in my tea brewer at the end right before I drenched em.

How did you do with caterpillars last year Mendo? I remember asking you in your journal from last season, im south of you but i had 3 or 4 buddy's including myself got em pretty good. Had a few that were purple inside of a purple bud, those little bastard shit in the bud and it pretty much turned it to mold i think

Things are looking good over here.
There are 25 in this garden.
The plants that I wanted to pheno hunt for.
They are all testers, lets hope their is some fire in this spot!
I'm wondering how big they will get.
Looks like Ill pull 3# from some.
I topped 8 of them in here.
I plan on making BHO out of all of it.
Like, ALL of it, or the testers.
