600w Grow Journal: sage 'n sour, og kush, purple kush

Elevatorman-yah bro good luck with the sage 'n' sour, so far it has produced the most in my room and has a wonderfull smell, i wouldn't be suprised if the taste and potency are above par aswell. As far as the og, i'm led to believe that it's an abusive cut but i cant be sure, lets cross our fingers.Thanks for checkin in, and stay tuned i think its going to get really exciting.

as with all TH seeds verieties, it seems you have to hunt for a good pheno. we have clones, so hopefully the person selected well. they really look like fatty sativa big buds right now, and the smell is shifting twards diesel more all the time. we will report back on that when its all cut and cured.

Unfortunately we foud hermie's inthe room. the Og kush plans had a few immature pollin sacks on them yesterday. I removed them, and hopefully i wont find many seeds in them. seeing as there are only 14 days left, it probably wont be too bad. i am sure this was due to light stress. it was very stuipid actually, i dont even want to talk about it.

From here out, it will be a battle with those pollin sacks (if more show up). My magnifine glass will be my sword. wish me luck.

Hey ZORK, Be diligent with the tweezers and magnifiers, Im sure you wont end up with many seeds at all, if you really got the sacks before they started to bust a nut. Keep up the great work bro. Peace

good to know NorthernKronic. a few seeds wont bother me. and i hear that if the seeds are extremely immature, its unnoticable in the smoke. maybe thats BS, but im hoping for good results

so i did the official measurements on my room, and its 3.4ftx4.1 feet (13.94 sq/ft) or 1.3 meters squared. this will be useful on my final weight/square meter measurements. here is what to expect coming up

1. Saturday the 22nd, mazar's coming down, and maybe the mystery Purple kush...maybe
2. Sunday the 30th the others (sage n sour, Og kush, Sr-71 purple kush) are comming down.
3. Pics this sat!
4. final statistics of grow including Grams/watt, Grams/Meter, Grams/plant, oz per/square feetAverage weight for each strain, height/width of each plant, and number of tops per plant, and of course comprehensive smoke reports for each.

stay tuned. Saturday you will see harvest pics of the Mazar.

Awesome bro, those OG nugs do kinda look like abusive now that you talk about it. Could we see a shot of the bottoms? I love how even the canopy's are did you tie and train them? I just tied and trained a Sour D and all the tops were even until two weeks into flower I stopped training so some nugs reached further, but yours are all pretty even they look sweet! Nice and spread out too bro, great work, can't wait to see the final result! PEACE ZORKIEO

You look like you got the quality I am now growing, looks great man and awesome strains to boot. I think that mazar, and the second unknown PK were sick man. The OG kush look familiar like I said so I'm sure it'll be bomb, and the sage and sour looks like it has some long ass spears huh? Great work I'll be around.

Caligreen - thanks again man. it was a chalenge to keep it even, but we just trained every individual branch that was out of sync with the rest. took a lot of time, but its paying off well for us.

Watered today. had to take some og kush shots while they were out of the room. colors are tremendious. THe plant that was topped is maturing more slowly then the one that was just LST'ed. you can tell the difference. this definetly might be a hybrid, but those nugs arnt as big as they look. it smells like pure Og kush. some of the best smelling weed ever.

turns out that light stress was worse then i though. one of the sage n sour plants is a hermie now, and i pulled off about 15 more male banannas off of the og kush plants today. i dont konw if i should pull them early or what. i dont want to deal with lots of seeds, but i dont want to have a bunch of crapy early picked smoke what do people think, do those og kush plants look ready?

the mazar and the unknown Purple Kush came down today. I took some macro's and saw how amber the trichs are getting. decided it was time.
ill let the pics do the talking.

Mazar 1 - 27 inches tall by 10 inches wide - 1 kola and some branches
mazar 2 - 25 inches tall by 10 inches wide - 1 kola and some branches
Unknown Purple kush - 24 inches tall by 22 inches wide - Aprox. 15 large tops, and 25 smaller at least.

made some bubble hash with my payload bags with my Fresh trim from the mazars and the single unknown PK clone. it was my first time using fresh trim instead of dry, and the ammount i used was small. maybe 75-100 grams dry weight. came out greener then i wanted. the pics make it look worse, because the wet water on it was gatorade green. but the sample i pressed and smoked streight out the freezer was full melt. when it dry's it might get even better!!!

So the total weight of the first haull is up

Mazar 1 + mazar 2 = 32.6g or 1.15oz. not bad for streatchy small plants

Unknown Purple Kush= 52g, or 1.83oz total for the plants is 84.6g or 2.989 oz.

and we still have 5 of the big ones left! very excited to pull them. probably gona be tomorrow as things are turning out.
