I also believe that if you hide "things" from your children you just may teach them to hide "things" from YOU. LOVE your children....don't baby-sit them.

So instead of teaching them to hide things from you, you teach them to hide things from their surroundings. If your children know about your illegal activities, you force them to lie to their friends or at least to be careful what they talk about. That's a whole lot of responsibility on small shoulders, just so you can take a toke. If it was legal it would be different, but in most areas it is just not.

So you suppose her parents would have put her in that situation regardless of having the choice to protect her? That's one bullshit comparison. Using the Holocaust in this matter is just bad taste, nobody had the choice back then. You do!

One could do that without putting the responsibility for illegal activities on their kids. What if you get busted, maybe go to jail just because your child said something stupid it shouldn't even have known in a weak moment? I see one happy rebel, being mocked at school for having drug using/selling parents, knowing it's his fault they got caught. All it takes to prevent that, is lock a door and wait 'til bedtime. Not that hard, right? If you teach your kids to respect your privacy and respect theirs, you don't even need to lock anything. You don't watch porn with your kids around, do you?

You don't need to tell a pig a thing. Only thing spreading faster than light, is bad rumors. I got busted at school for some guy who heard from somebody, that heard something about me using. Don't be that naive. All it takes is some jerk calling on you.

Do that! I am all for it. As long as you don't put your children up to the front. As soon as you have children it's not just your future that's on the line. Keep that in mind, please

I hate the dare program... and think this is a very sad story...

But I mean come on!!! these parents are STUPID!!! If your fifth grader found rolled up joints and identified them and then brought them to school you know you did something wrong

My father smoked pot, and many of my friends parents did too, and I never had any idea... though I do now after realizing what that funny smell is in the bathroom.. I never even saw weed until I was a sophomore in high school.

When I have kids my marijuana use is going to go down to toking out of a small pipe and every thing will be hidden out of reach... I couldnt imagine this happening to my family

It is in bad taste to tread on the rights of others, and then take offense at the way they protest.
