What would be the ideal plant height with the 126w and the 318w models, to achieve a desirable amount of light penetration into the canopy? Thanks LEDGirl, take care.

This is assuming mid-sized bushy plants between 24"-36"
63W: 1-2 plants
126W: 2-4 plants
318W: 4-8 plants
Awesome, thanks for that info S_a_H, im also way excited about these Sounds like they would work great in a multi-tent setup, since the height isn't too big in them.
I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a way to take pics under these LEDs so that they appear normal colored (if that's even possible). Most good cameras have settings for various lighting conditions but I think these narrower spectrum LEDs present a unique challenge.
Sorry to be slightly OT here LEDgirl, just don't know where else to post this question....

LEDgal....could you give us a quick breakdown as to why we'd select a variable viewing angle? I see on your site that you have both 60 degree and 30 degrees. I believe I remember reading somewhere that it had something to do with penetration of canopy....but a mental bump from you would be perfect.

How long do they retain 90% of their original output?
Great results. I was wondering if those yields were of dry weight or wet weight.
LEDGirl,
Just so I am clear, the wattage listed includes the total draw from the units, not just the lights themselves? So the 318W unit draws a total of about 3 amps including the fans? So it would be safe to run 4 of these units on a single outlet that is fed by a 20 amp breaker?
Thanks!
Thanks!15,000 Hours, or about 2 solid years. If you're using it for a bloom light, that's 4 years of use before your output drops even 10%.
