After Harvest

Well, its all chopped and trimmed, now its just drying... i trimmed one plant 1 day before all the others and that's nice and dry now. Just weighed it on the scales and there's 90grams there so just over 3 ounce... not too bad to say it was the smallest of the 4. I've got the rest drying in seperate places so that i can weigh them all seperately but they're not dry yet.

Pic update:

From yesterday, this is only 1 and a half plant, these were taken before i trimmed the rest.

In my limited experience the Sensi Seeds Super Skunk is MUCH better than the Nirvana knock off...

I have only run the Sensi myself but sampled the finished Nirvana buds, its just NOT the same strain IMHO...

I agree, Super Skunk is one of, if not THE best all around potency/yield/ease of growth strains. Bravo and props to you on your results.

No kidding man, that looks like a great yield for a 600w, kudos!!

My 1000w is just far enough away that it won't burn them, but not so far away that it affects light penetration, so I'm guessing the stretch is genetically based. Also, I don't think they grew much vertically in the last couple days, so I think they're slowing down...finally....

You know, I got my seeds from someone who grew out a room full of superskunk from unknown origins (at least, unknown to me) and he got a hermie in the back of the room. I've heard bad things about seeds from females that have been pollinated by a hermie, but DAMN this strain is potent and high yielding, so I don't even care at all.

You know, I've been thinking about it recently, and I think I want to try superskunk in a SOG, since it stretches so much during the first two weeks of flower. Eurosystems makes a dual 600w switchable ballast, so I wanna get three more 4x4 tables, and two of those ballasts, and three more hoods, and try a SOG with a 600w above each 4x4 table, pull off a harvest every two weeks. How many superskunk cuts do you think you could fit into a 4x4 table? 30?

Once again, good growing, and PLEASE keep it up. Experienced superskunk growers have been hard for me to find!

Thanks, but thats not all i've yielded here's some more pictures:

This is just the other 3 plants, remember iv already dried and weighed 90grams off the smallest plant.

3 plants drying

I was really thinking about doing a SCROG with the Superskunk, but i'm not sure if i will yet... i agree, i think it will be great because of the stretch.. also, with the amount of stretch time the Superskunk has i think it should be quite easy to bend the branches round the screen.

Yeah 30 sounds abit right for the 4x4 tables, how long are you planning on vegging them before flower?

I'm not planning on vegging them at all, just going straight to flower as soon as they have a reasonable amount of roots in a rapid rooter.

Just weighed up 2 other plants that are now dry and they weighed in at 208.5g together, i'll get some pics up of it soon.
There's one more left, the biggest :D so far iv had 298.5 grams and this is what's left to weigh up when its dry:

Hey nice haul. I tried something called superskunk In Adam in around 98. Very pale green coloured, the palest weed I've seen, and sitting on the floor, the floor was rippling like waves on the ocean, very strange experience, but quite enjoyable lol.
On the Responses thing, picture this place like a pub, a stranger walks in and starts talking to himself, do you go and join him lol? Its not that bad here, but if you get on other peoples threads, they normally check yours out, just to see who you are and what you're up to, and if its interesting to them, then they tag it too so they can find it easily again. Most of the peeps you see getting instant responses are either getting them from peeps they already know on this site, or they are saying something designed to get a response, like all stoners are stupid or can I grow with this this incandescent light bulb or something. So hang in, and responses to threads will start to increase a little. Although you seem to be doing ok now.

Yeah the responses are fine now :) Thanks for the comment. Yeah the superskunk is always a very light colour, can i just ask... if you can remember, was the superskunk you tried sticky when it was dry? its the only weed that i have ever tried that is still super sticky when its dry as a bone.

no it wasnt sticky, in fact it felt like polystirene (sp?), very light wieght and bulky, but not sticky. Although it was commercially grown SS rather than lovingly grown.
You in the UK? I only ask because you spell colour the same way I do lol.

Thanks :D

The whole lot has been dried and weighed now and i can tell you that the final plant weighed.......

148.5g! :D

So that means my final yield for this grow is - 447grams.

I'm happy with that, that's more or less a pound, iv never had that much before off 4 plants under a 600w so everythings good.

Here's my last set of pictures for you all.

PS - This is just the last one..

HOly crap man. The irony!

I've got the same desk and keyboard. I just got a digital 600w lumatek with hortilux and a hydrofrarm daystar AC. I've been sittin on a pack of Super SKunk Beans from nirvana for a while and GOt DAMN! You got me motivated!

Are you me from the future?>

I've had some really good luck on my Nirvana beans so far with Papaya, White RHino, and BUbblelicious. The Papaya and Rhino are seriosuly top notch comming from NIrvana. The Bubblelicious I either grew it poorly some how or it's just bad genetetic. It's not too bad just wouldn't put it in a bowl spliff only smoke. I'm gona try and work with the bubble one more time before scrappin it out fora better replacement.

Your yield Honestly scares the crap out of me. I'm not sure I really want that much bud in my posession being a medi patient I got keep it under a certain ammount. I got anice limit to work with so we'll see. :rasta:

Man that's an amazing weight to plant ratio, seems the SS is a great commercial grow. I may have to get my hands on some of those beans, I can think of a few crosses I would like to try. So what's next up to grow?
