They're nearly finished now, i gave them a boost of PK13-14 last week to finish them off and iv just put them in flush today. Should be ready for harvest in about a week I'm proud of these babies, they're nearly falling over theyre that heavy.
Killer superskunk. I did two superskunks under a 400w in coco/hydroton and they were falling over from their own weight too, such amazing genetics. How many days did yours stretch when you switched the lights to 12/12? I have 21 of them in a hydro table, and they have been growing vigorously for 11 days now, like an inch+ vertically a day, and I really need them to slow down...
kyle be patient.....if you grow it, they will come
seriously nice bushes though, i've got a stonehedge in dwc thats around day 45......i'm giving it the canna pk sometime very soon.....maybe today....start on a very low dose then ramp it up for a week
good work man i can't wait to see the finished bud!
Yeah, i like to stick to the superskunk because i know it can produce well and its a very potent smoke. These plants were topped when they were smaller so that the grew wider and it has definately made a difference in the yield this time.
Evilunclephil - Nice, did you find out what yield you got off the 2 superskunk or didnt you weigh it? Have you made a diary for this 21 superskunk grow? Sounds like fun to read/see.
I'm not quite sure what you mean with that question you asked me though.
User name - Thanks! Yeah i just checked out your thread... nice! i posted a comment on there
Thanks Stoned, the water isnt constantly cold to be honest. I empty the buckets every couple of days and clean them then refill them with fresh cold water and feeds etc.. but sometimes when i go to empty the water its not always cold, sometimes its luke warm but it doesnt seem to be a problem.
The whole room is usually roughly at the right temperature, at the moment its on 31degrees which is a little higher than normal but we've had some hot wether over the last few days and they're nearly ready so thats not a major problem either.
I have cold air blowing in and an extractor fan sucking the warm air out to keep it at the right temperature too.
One is falling over because of the weight iv had to put some temporary weights on the bucket lid to hold it up for tonight, im gonna harvest that one tomorrow i think.
By the way those Bud Shot pics are only of 3 of the plants, one has been harvested already.. the smallest one.
Here's a pic of one of the dry buds, i gave it a tester this morning and i'm feeling nicely mashed
Dry Bud Shot
I'm gonna try keep them all seperate after they've all been harvested and dried so i can weigh it because i never usually do and i'd like to know what i get... if i weigh it i'll let you all know what i get
Just don't smoke it all before you get a decent cure on it. Growing doesn't end at harvest time. Drying and curing can have a huge impact on flavor and potency. Enjoy the buds though.....you deserve that part!
I'm pretty sure I ended up getting about 2 1/2 ounces per plant under a 400w HPS with those two plants. By stretch time I really meant how long after you switch them over to bloom do they seem to focus on growing vertically, as opposed to fattening up and making lots of bud? Mine have been reaching for the sky for almost 2 weeks now.
How high is your light away from the top of your plants? It may be because your light is too far away so the plants are just stretching towards the light? Either that or you may be putting them in too big?
As you can tell from my first set of pictures they are quite tall after only 2 weeks but after that they dont get much taller, maybe only a couple of inches thats all.. after that the buds just get fatter. So hopefully yours should stop growing vertically anytime this week.
Also, i topped mine when they were small which makes them bush out more but it doesnt make that much of a difference in height as mine are always roughly the same height but they are definately much fatter than normal this time round.
