45 day strains

Green Crack, Bluberry, Chaos, G13Hp... are all strains Ive grown that can be taken around 50 days or less. I totally agree with ya on the TW TK :smoke:

... hey Jack, any timer with multiple on/off settings should work for you... you probably want/need to find a digital one. Hit up the hydro store or Casa Depot and they shoul dhave what you need.

Anyone know of, or grown a certain strain that finishes around the 45 day mark? 50 days would be nice too. Ive seen some of bogs gear claim 44-48days, i think it was bogglegum.

I want to try the 6hr.40min on/12hr off light cycle with a short flowering strain. I have a buddy thats done 9-10wk sativas and finished them in under 8wks with the only difference being faster harvests and lower electricity bills.

I want to see if i can get from rooted clone to cut colas around 35 days.

Thanks, and as always keep it easy ~caddy

your friend is doing this how mature are the trichromes ????

i'm growing sugar shack my grow log for details i started from seed and now have 2 bonsai mother plants for cloneshttp://kindseed.com/proddetail.asp?prod=PP-sshak the breeder is out of stock but they seem to have 2 other strains that finish same. ive harvested the shack at 50, 52,,54 days 12/12 havent smoked the 50 day yet but im sure shes just as potent as the others. this other strain is supposed to be like sugar shack http://kindseed.com/proddetail.asp?prod=PP-ssp and this grown in a dialed in hydro setup i could see finishing in 45-50 days n/p

The reason it is 6:40/12 is that the timer starts over at exactly the end of the week.

I assume there would be some transition/acclimation from 12/12 to prevent stress.

I've personally grown sensi seeds shiva skunk for a long time and it is by far one of the strains I would recommended to a newbie commercialist. Its just all around good. You can take it at 42 but its better at 45 and not that much better later. It fits nicely into a 2 month perpetual cycle since cloning took 10 days to 2 weeks. I had them in the coliseum rolling like clockwork. If i were to ever pick the coliseums back up, this is the strain for me.

ok, im not sure how to handle this thread... getting questions about the schedule and great info on the strains...

First off for the schedule. Its a weekly deal done in sync with a pre planned calender. You use digital event timer. Look at the scedule closely to see how the time and days change. The AM PM flips every week... say you start ON this Sunday, your lights will be off next sunday at the same time.

Jack K, your schedule was all messed up...lol. Heres the deal.

1 on Sun 12:00pm
1 off Sun 6:40pm

2 on Mon 6:40pm
2 off Mon 1:20 pm

3 on Tue 1:20am
3 off Tue 8:00 pm

4 on Tue 8:00pm
4 off Wed 2:40 am

5 on Wed 2:40pm
5 off Wed 9:20pm

6 on Thu 9:20am
6 off Thu 4:00pm

7on Fri 4:00 am
7 off Fri 10:40am

8 on Fri 10:40pm
8 off Sat 5:20pm

9 on Sun 5:20pm
9 off Sun 12:00am

and so on....

OK, see the flip?... I think this is why no one does this, its complicated and requires mapping out the duration over a calender. The only thing really required that most people might not have is CO2... Because your pushing the plants so hard and fast, you want the added boost of CO2, but im telling ya, the end result is serious.

Maj Pothead... no the guy i know pulled GPD which is a late 9 week sativa down in a little over 7 weeks. My original reason for this thread was to find what the community thought was the dankest, highest producing 45 day strain so i could attempt it with this schedule... i wanna see if i can pioneer a mature sticky 35 day grow. I should say clone to cure in 60.

Brooklyn, i dunno about a straight 7/12hr run... T think this is the way its gotta be. Its the way ive seen it done.

CT, that morning star looks super dankard. I mean really really good. Ill have to search who offers that.

Chodo, thanks for droppin the info on the Shiva Skunk... thats an informed post and exactly the kind of info im lookin for... cant get any better than confirmed. Although im not a commercial grower, i just wanna get the best bang for my buck... PG&E is crazy expensive here, and im looking for that perfect early strain. My grow is perpetual, but i wanna put the most special strain i can find or have recommended to me.

Glad you guys are here... thanks for all your info. Hope the schedule there clears up any questions... Keep it easy ~caddy

Oh and Brooklyn... i dont think switching from 12/12 to this schedule within the same grow wouldnt be a super idea... but you could try it. We can play our own God indoors.

edit would to wouldnt...lol

incidentally, JackKerouac's schedule was correct, but perhaps the way he wrote it made it unclear for you.

also, you do need a DIGITAL 7 day timer with at least 9 ON and 9 OFF (or to put it differently, your need at least 18 programmable events) events. hope this helps.

btw, none of this information is new, i've read most of it here on icmag, so i'm not claiming anything innovative nor am i taking credit for any of this, merely paying back the community for all that she has given me.

i believe nite tiger has an excellent thread on the 18h 40m day. i encourage all interested to look it up.

good luck & stay green,
susio

I think I gave you K+ for something else, but thanks for the props Taco. The schedule is a bit confusing, but does reset every 7 days. I hope to try it shortly with my shiny new Intermatic controller.

Nitetiger's thread can be found HERE, by the way. He also talks about 14:40 light, 4 hours dark for veg. INTERESTING!

CosmicBadBoy's thread supporting this HERE

In most cases it seems to take a "few" days longer to finish than the seed companies advertise. It may just be me though.

Personally, won't be testing this newcommer before next summer. But I suppose anyone lookin' for a quick flowering strain should check this out.
Santa Maria is one of my personal favourites from what I've been smoking lately.

Doing the math here . . .

45 days is roughly 6 weeks. Using that light schedule, you get 2 extra days of growth per week, so 12 days less. 33 days flowering to finish?

With a shiny new Intermatic controller, that sounds like a challenge. Watch for a post to come!

Does anyone know where I can find out more about the 6:40on/12off light schedule? I've searched but haven't found much. I'd really like to know if it really works that well, lets say in a sealed room running aeroponics and full co2 enrichment. Anybody?
