LMAO did he do it last year also? It was a different guy that passed out at Seedboo...anyway, reggae would have been great I think, Zion Train maybe.

afaik he's the same guy that fell of the chair last year. It kind of came to us as he was on his way down, that he looked real familiar. :chin: :D

I had heard this over the week but I didn't want to sound like a sore loser...

Earning a second Place in the Grower's category means the world to me because of the company I keep here at IC Mag. I am a better grower than two years ago because of everyone here.

Results have already been changed and disqualifications made. See official results thread.

And yes, this was obviously done to 'slip' into the grower category...and we aren't having that....NO WAY! When an entry is made based on a entrants 'nic' and we have no idea who that nic really is at the time...that's how it got done....but as fast as it was awarded...as fast as it is taken away.

Congrats both of you!!!!! :woohoo: its not about the prize anyway but the good feeling you get when your work is noticed and when you see that something you have put your heart, soul and love into makes other people feel the same, way to go guys, I love ya!

As I have said before, Gypsy and Crew run a fair and unbiased competition. What has just taken place proves this. Midnight Gardener is still one helluva grower and breeder, no doubt about that!

Congrats to Moppel and JLP!!!

Thanks everyone for the positive vibes. This is why I consider IC Mag my home.

Gypsy paid five digits (euros) for an evening with 'concert' bands...that's what you get... :woohoo: LOL These bands don't play for a few hundred euros, they are much too famous. Talking is best done in between sets...or when they finish playing. Oh well, we tried to secure the very best in live bands, they have an incredible sound system for sure, one that can easily blast 'concert' style.

Maybe we should get a lawrence welk type band for softer music next time? LMAO

dg

how about NO BAND , no one i talked to wanted loud music, no one i talked to wanted to stand in the dark.

just imagine the food spread we could have had for a grand but instead many left the loud bands in the dark to go eat. scheduling bands for dinner time??? dreadfully expensive planning there.

KEEP IT SIMPLE. we are there to meet each other, share joints and bowls and to talk in person with each other.

How odd TF....the majority I spoke to afterwards had quite the opposite to say...but like the old saying goes 'you can't please all the people all the time'...we certainly tried though.

Usually when going to an evening event, you eat before going...thus scheduling your food consumption around the time schedule laid out in an organized event.

But no worries, things will be much different next year....we plan on MORE bands. :woohoo: Oh, and food available at the event so that those with munchies don't miss out on anything. Also, more than likely will have a venue scheduled for 1 day only (on 4/20) and let all you that want to make your own schedule going and doing things get on with it...is a bit silly that we pay for things which aren't used to the fullest (like the boat!) because of folks being spread out and not following the scheduled events...so I for one am ALL for NO scheduled events except on 4/20...sure will save us a pretty euro or two.
