I should let everyone know that Trichome Farmer has led this tour for several years and he knows the best places to go. You won't get worn out riding as its a lot easier than walking. On a bike anyplace you want to go is just a short ride on level ground away. The biggest hill in Amsterdam was a bridge we crossed a couple times.

I also would like to caution those riding that there are some hazards to watch out for. Riders should use caution as we have had a couple people take minor falls. You will be in a group and it will be safe. If you have never done this at night in Amsterdam and you like riding a bike this will be a real gas. :D

We will find everything you ever wanted to try. Just ask and we will go to find. BOG

I agree with BOG . Its a great experience. Way better then walking imo. I have walked a'dam for 3 of the years i went to HTCC and biking was way better. The junkies or dealers don't nearly bother you as much as only locals mostly bike. Made the experience way more pleasant then guys harassing you to buy coke. Besides trip out to the Katsu was unforgettable.

It's survival of the fittest on a bike in Amsterdam really and those who have limited coordination or injuries/chronic back or joint problems can get a cab. :D

Remember if riding to have a rain slicker just in case and wear a sweatshirt under it in case it gets chilly late at night. This is a real adventure but Amsterdam ain't the Rocky Mountains or anything severe. The worst that can happen is a runny nose or a skinned knee unless the tram gets you. Remember to watch out for the Tram. BOG

I'm guessing the weather is going to be cold and rainy that time of year. I've got a rain suit i'll be bring just in case. Better safe then Wet and cold. Looking forward to the bike ride and meeting some friends. God, knows i need a vaction and some relaxing. Just hope i don't get ran over by a train or ride the bike into the water.
Take care

In the past we had reasonable weather with a little drizzle but not cold. As I recall the evenings got a bit chilly but coming from the mountains the low land on the warm currents seems pretty nice in spring. The days were often quite warm. BOG
