MGJ- thank you very much..means alot. im glad you like my garden, i work real hard on it. and already the LST i have done..which is quite a bit, has created sooo much branching. its gonna be crazy come flower in bout a week.

well heres some shots of the cab tonight. i didnt get the plants to my gf but i did get a new bottle of Liquid Karma!! and some new soil...also some containers for mothers and a few grow bags.

EDIT- i wanted to show here in the cab shot that the really tall plant in the middle back is the one that will go into a 2-3 gal grow bag. not sure if i will supercrop her of top her...we will see

be able to clone not to far off. hope to get a few clones..one for a mother, then flower out this mother and maybe two other clones. after this grow of course. i also have decided that i will take the last bagseed female that i have and put it into a 2 gal growbag. my first time with a growbag. then i will flower out the 6 ladies.....boy its gonna be packed in there.

anyideas about my current cascadia reveg? shes gettin bushy.. i was thinkin about trimmin her back a few inchs. maybe, we will see.

well heres a lil update. i finally got the two extra females moved to another location so i repotted my last female(which is a bagseed) into a 2 gal grow bag. i also put my cascadia reveg into a 1 gal grow bag.

everything in the cab will be flowered except for the cascadia mother...she will wait till next round.
now that i have 6 plsnts i will be flowering i will most def. have to flip to 12/12 here real soon. only thing left to do is take cuts of my club cuts so i can make moms. i think i might do that during the first week of flower tho..since there will be more shoots to pick from.

also heres a quick look at a tub i helped my gf setup. the plants will eventually be scrogged and there will be around 350watts of cfls in there

Hey Buddy, that reveg is looking awesome. I can't believe how fast that one turned around. Complete 180 in a matter of days.

I see your cabinet is full again. I'm pulling up a seat..... Oh, a rubbermaid? Red Greenery rubbing off on you? I was just about to ask where you were keeping your mothers.

I have a cab thats 3'W x 20"D x 4'H.
there is also a box on the top which is 30"W x 20"D x 13"H
in the top box there is my fan ballast and power supply.

Doing alittle math. Seems you have 5 square feet under that 400. So 80 watts a square foot. Mine comes out just under 9 and 45 per ft2. I might just move one of my walls in and make a mother chamber on the side, something on the side anyway. I only have a few plants under the light, a bit water logged right now. Vegging, and Strange thing is, most of the leaves are only three blades and they have shown sex already. Very few have 4 or any more blades.

Guess I just have to think about up'ing those watts per foot.

joe, whats up? i know the cascadia is going crazy i am so excited..but it also sucks cause it is soo big...i will have to give her a trimmin here soon for her move to the veg tub. and actually the rubbermaid that i just setup isnt for my mothers..its so my gf can flower 2 plants. i am pretty familiar with the rubbermaid..my two first grows were with one. but the mothers will be kept in the rubbermaid right next to my flower cab

i will probably need to stack another on top for added growth space eventually....but if i cant get away without it..i would much rather that. i am running out of space in general...my closet is only so big and i can only run so many lights on my circuit.
and i think putting a wall in your cab would be a good idea....get those watt/sqft up..the 80 is amazing..makes almost every nug a big one. and thats weird that those females only have 3 blades...looks like we have some sorta mutants on our hands.


well i also have some good news. some friends might be moving their operation down to my area, the same ppl who gifted me my 4 club clones. they have been really impressed with my garden so when they get moved down i will be hopefully getting a Hawaiian Purple Kush clone and i believe a few others....not sure.
i am so amped...i about got my operation right where i want it. i am going to make bonsai mothers of all my named genetics, so i will have 5-6, then i will just take clones from them...

this is going to be so sweet. ever since i started growing i knew that clones were the way to go. until this grow tho i havent ever done it. and now i am so amped that i will soon not have to go from seed again..unless to start a new strain of course.....maybe some super-g..haha

well i will post some pics up later tonight after the light comes on.

nice setup bro im runen with ya in the 400 club im curently running a few special peaces. i wish i had a digital!!! well keep up the good work. i have mine in an open closet and am pushing 5 to 8 zs depending on the strain i run. i think you should think about geting another cab like your girls, so you can have a even scrog or sog. youd hit that 10z for shur. i know everyone hates smoken on the same stuff for months... so cylce...

well i finally got done watering and lst'in the ladies....i will tell ya, its a packed cab. i might even have to get rid of 1 female....not sure yet. if so it will be one of the two bagseed i have in there.

i will be posting up a new shot ina day or so...they will be way bushier. because they are so big i will be flowering in probably 2 days. otherwise it will be too much. i am getting excited.

blacklb- i might get a big tub set up again..just for bonsai moms and clones....we will see. it would work alot better than my small rubbermaid.

orpotguy- 50 watt is still great..get tons off that.

whats up???!!!?!?!? hope everyone is doin great. im doin pretty well. today was the first day of 12/12 for my ladies. i tied them down for the last time the other night and the got so spread that i had to not only remove my cascadia reveg...which was coming out anyways, but i also removed my other bagseed(the one in the 2gal grow bag). there just wasnt enough room at this time. so i hope to maybe have room in there in the next couple days, when the plants get taller and i can reposition them all. if not i might be able to fit her in my bigger rubbermaid veg tub which will be set up soon.

boy i am sooo high and just rambled so much.haha

i cant wait. i hope i can fit my other bagseed in there in a few days.....but i might have tried to push my cab a little more than i can. the space is great for 5...maybe too small for 6. we will see.

thanks alot MRgreenjeans. and yes the ladies were wuite ready for 12/12. they are going to be huge....i think this is by far my best LST ever. which isnt suprising...sometimes i forget that this is only my 4th grow ever. so altho i am off to a great start...my skills are always improving.
i hope to pull around the same that i did last run, so right about 10oz...if i get near that i will be a happy camper.

only thing left to do is setup my veg tub, which i am going to do in bout 15mins.... and clone my 4 club cuts in the next couple days.

OH!!!! i almost forgot. yesterday i picked up a heating mat for cloning and seedlings. it was bout $25. i hope that this will get my other clones to root....its the only reason i can see themnot rooting...or taking a long time to root.

I hear ya on the rooting temps DJ - I was having a problem too this winter - I also had to dome the cuttings in addition to the heating mat. I suggest getting one of those stick on liquid crystal thermometer strips and put it on the side of your clone box. If I have my clones on the heater without the dome the warmest they get is 66d or so, with the dome on I can get them to 78d. It's been a chilly winter!

Hello Darrin, Greeny, Core, OPG. I have been getting slow results with cloning also. So I went back with an old favorate of mine, Tick's cloner. two rubbermaids of the same size, ONe is filled with a few inches of water, add an aquarium water heater, put the second maid on inside the first. A few cheap aquarium thermometers for water and air temps.

Hold on, something just fell in the other room...... damn, I hate that. I don't know what fell 'fur sure'.

You can even put another rubbermaid on upside down on top for humidity. Anyway, The heater is not adjustable but it works. Seems to work better since I put a couple towels under the whole works to insulate it from the floor.

well hey guys!! whats up?
boy this has been such a loong night for me. had to get a new tub setup and clones planted.......i am soo beat. and i have alot of work this week so its gonna be rough. oh well tho, i am really excited about my cab right now. things have really gotten to a great point. heres a shot of my new veg tub.


it has a new batch of clones...from all my flowering plants and my cascadia. also the clones that were done i put into pots...they will be bonsai moms. there is also the bagseed that was going to flower but got crowded out...so its in there with that 36wattcfl on her. the other is a 26watt. this is a big step towards getting a very steady supply of bud all the time. i am pretty amped and blessed to have the genetics that i do.
my cascadia reveg is doing great as well. shes too big right now for the veg tub so i am just letting her sit out in my room by the window. she gets a bit of light, till i trim her or something. we will see. might leave her out for awhile.


ok and the cab is doing great....the ladies are filling it up nicely..and are becoming easier to position a bit.

i took 3 clones from every plant to make sure i will have at least one clone of each make it. just giving myself a little buffer since its only my second time cloning really.
things are getting big. these ladies are really gonna produce.

OJ- hey bro...lol....i know my bagseed is a very special lady and boy do i love her. i cant belive this stuff is soo great, and that i have been growing it every time ive grown. she is looking awesome right now. i didnt take any shots of her. but i will try to in the next few days. i am very suprised too because i just transplanted her not too long ago and her roots are already out the bottom of the pot. not to bad.

OPG- thanks for stopping by...thing sare really starting to get fun. i hope your enjoying your harvest.

MGJ- thanks for your support things are going to be huge! i cant wait. stretch does usually last around 2weeks correct?
i also am still using my 400watt MH bulb... i usually switch it to HPS after about a week of flower.

well thats about all i think. man i am tired.i think things are really going to be getting alot better from now on. i think my next grow i am gonna try to do a SOG....like senseless'. throw a bunch of clones in there in 5in pots or something. i love the idea of having a variety of buds to smoke.
