bonzaiGrower - looks great - is that the C24?

Everytime I see a wider cab than mine I get jealous of the clean lines in engineering it

Jumblyjoe, it's the PAX cabinet from Ikea inside dimensions are 22 1/2"d x 37 1/2" w x 75" h

For the record I want to footnote that in now way can I take credit for the design really. All I did was take what I thought to be the best ideas found on IC and built it like that.

So props and much respect goes out to everyone I borrowed the design from. All I really did was plan and dream about it for aprox. a month and then measured twice and cut once. I still have some things to add like muffin fans for cooling in the fan and ballast area, a remote weather station mounted on the door and a few muffin fans in the grow area for leaf and air movement.

This flu bug is really kickin my ass though...this is day 5 and no change from day 3 really. oh well ...can't enjoy the ups without feeling the downs.

Peace all

and by the way Joe...your cab was one I looked at along the way...I'm just too cloudy to properly remember who the shout outs should go to.

mmmm that'd be one fat friggin joint for sure!

some group in Holand recently scrapped an idea to smoke a 1 pound joint for the guiness record (I did not know there was a record so I don't know what it currently is) however the police were not keen to the idea. Seems the limit is 5 grams per person and even if you had enough people to all throw in 5 grams, which they can legally possess, the joint itself would be illegal.

oh well let's just pass a big cyber fatty :joint:

Hey I dont want to butt in here but... I'm not new around here but I dont post much just kinda float. I have been growing White Widow from The Flying Dutchman for a little over two years under a 400w mh/hps. I got pretty good at what I was doing but now I'm looking for change. Think you could drop in and give some help? http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=44390

Thanks suga! That is a very nice looking plant, the buds/plants don't really look a whole lot like anything I've grown so it intrigues me... How much of a chore is trimming one of those?

BG - Thanks, she smokes great. It's gona be hard to find a better overall mother, but damnit I'm workin on it :joint:

BonsaiGrower, what have you done?!

Is that a 6" Vortex and cord locks I spy? As your avatar suggests, well prepared for battle you are.

Very nice setup you have there.

Passive intakes on the bottom of cab- check.

The good weather stripping- check.

PH/TDS pen for soil ?

Hygrometer for RH readings ?

As you probably know, smaller plants might need some help to maintain enough RH under the mighty hortimer.

Then again if your ambient room RH is 40-60% :yoinks: the passives should have you covered.

I grow hydro (DWC/Hydrotron/Netcups) with lots of bubbles so that helps keep the RH up during lights on, but I have a coolmist ultrasonic humidifier (20-$30.00 @ Walmart) to help boost the RH if needed.

Maybe a passive intake/exaust for your ballast section also, but only if you aren't satisfied with your temps in the flower section. As you know it might add more noise to the room and your cab looks to be built with discretion in mind.

First rate setup, very clean BG. Your gonna love what hortimer will do to your girls in there. Best of luck with the SCROG. Looking forward to some flower pics.

PS. Sorry to hear of your flu bug. Best advice for lingering flu is to remove planters, climb into your cab, close the doors leaving the room lights on and meditate while checking for light leaks.. :bat: Peace CF

Edit- I see you have the ballast venting and atmosphere monitoring handled.. still learning to read while medicated...CF

CabenetForester,,,, Hey there, I was wonderin if you'd notice...ha...yes sir those are Cord Locks you see there. Thanks for the props....I took what I thought were the best ideas and stole them for myself. Your cord lock idea being one of them. Things are going well and thanks to everyone and their concern of my flu bug...8 days later and I think it's starting to leave.

I had written a long post reply here and then wanted to add a pic and somehow the copy and paste function didn't work for me so alas I'm typing it again...I need an after work blunt though so.....ha...gonna cut it short.

My ambient room RH is 60% and the cab is 50% I'd like some ideas on how to raise the RH in the cab so I can lower the room RH...feels a little damp at 60%

I've had the cab up and running for a week now and the scrog is filling in nicely. I'll post a pic when it's full just before switching to 12/12.

My hydro store wants me to try some of this stuff so I'll let everyone know how it worked for me. I'll add it as a supplement as directed to my regular nutes a week before 12/12 and a week or so after then just my regular flower nutes. (I guess my store thought I have a worthy opinion...or it's shit and they just wanted to unload it....ha...free is better than cheap)

Cheers everyone.

I posted this on indoor soil thread, but thought I would put it here also since I gro under 400 W HPS when I start SCROGing them.

Sorry no pictures I, don't have a dig camera and my cell phone pictures suck!

I have eight plants started from seed under 3, 100 W CFLs for vegging, they are about 4" high, each in there own plastic cup. I just started noticing these litle dog pecker gnat looking bugs coming out of the dirt and flying around my plants.

My questions are, what are they, can they hurt my plants, And how the fuck do I eliminate them?

I had one healthy looking plant about 3" tall that just started wilting overnight and died, I don't know what caused it, the plant had the same treatment as the others, don't know if the pecker gnats could have caused it to die or not.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly welcome,

Nickel

Alright.....I'll Bite....buzzed day .. Did she buy the place cheap? .... was it on a government auction? ... used as a grow house before? ... Does the place have bad karma or good karma? ... is it gonna be patrolled by every leo in the area for the next 10 years?

IF all is good then congradulations to your step daughter on her new place and I hope she has fun giving it "Curb Appeal" ...

Cheers
