In re: the in-shorts-at-38, .. Yeah. Your pals are probably right. (Though that reminds me, last night I got home and thought, "Hey, it's kinda niceish out today, I think I'll take the dogs for a run!"

We got back from the run, and I looked at the thermometer on the back of the house - 37 degrees.

Nice tube for the gas blowin'. I need me a bigg'n like that. I can cram a little more than an ounce into mine, but the yield hardly seems worth the trouble sometimes..

What about some bare bulbs in the space to heat things up?

Interesting, on the non crammin'. So you just sort of tap tap tap the material down in the tube (like tapping the tube itself against the floor/table, to let it settle)?

How fine do you get your material? I'm presuming finer'n frog hair if you're using the processor..?

I see all those cans of gas on the ground - how many cans do you run per oz (or so) in the tube?

And, back to crammin', .. So, do you always have a full tube? (that is, no empty space at the top?) .. Though now that I'm thinkin, maybe extra space on the top really wouldn't make a difference, ..)?

The tube end is a tightly trimmed coffee filter then ss screen held on with a hse clamp
this end opens up
i try to process the same as i use a grinder
lastnight the processor idea came to me
so not pulverized
next time ill weigh out what typically goes in there
yup...tap tap, fill 1/3 tap tap, top off, paper filter screen clamp
blow the whole can through n wait

lastnight I adjusted this from doing the can in portions

I noticed the resistance from the filter so the herb actually gets to soak in the liquid butane as it works its way down
the cans are 10.8--smaller but 7x
then when the dripping is to a trikle, i blow 1/2 another through and wait it out.
I need a plug for the top and a stand

I've seen this method - wondered about any pros/cons, .. It'd sure beat buying another frickin' tube, or having to unpack the tube and re-pack in the middle of a blowin' session..

That's all the review I needed. Seemed like it gave almost a prolonged exposure to the gas on the material - like, too much almost. Not sure if that's possible with butane, but I'd imagine it's like any solvent, right? I mean, if it's no bueno to let the material sit in the isopropyl for too long, then does the same apply to butane?
