threw it in a jar of water yesterday afternoon
it floated all day
woke up 'smornin
the seed has opened,
planted.

So tomorrow is REALLY REALLY clone day
so I guess I'll go through it

I make perma tags
use a bolt to punch holes in plastic
cut into strips
write clone name on plasttic w ball point pen so when the ink wears out
the impression remains
strips stored on the clipboard
Perlite has been brought to a boil
Rapid Rooters soaked in Hygrozyme for 2 days then set out in the sun
trays have been spryed with hydrogen peroxide after thorough cleaning
heating mat and thermostat are set up
Exacto and alchol preps are ready
just gotta find the clone gel
if I cant, Im just goin with raw honey
so I guess I'll go through it
again

almost bailed on the clone project untill they are in better health but i went with it anyways

Lovin' the space you've got to play with, on the indoor setup.. Veg space looks great.
The slow growth, .. I'm a little surprised you'd be concerned with the pH, in the dirt setup, if only because it's from you that I learned that pH usually isn't a big concern in dirt, +/- .. (for more detailed/in-depth reasons that we'll skip for the sake of brevity)
Are you thinking that the pH of the water source here (vs from a tap, for example) might be cause for potential significantly out-of-whack pH?
I had some slow go'ers in veg (and ultimately one that got put into flower - doh. straight to the oil pile it goes when it's done) a while back. Ended up that I had some fungus gnat larvae..
Have you poked around in the dirt to see if there are any critters down'ere?

ive never worried about soil pH either
when i did, after testing it for about 3 months, i quit, because it wasnt changing
but i was an urban grower
this natural source stuff has a lot of the DG in it
my ONLY move is to test the pH

im guessing its the nourishing source because the ones that came from another farmer are now congruent with these here.
and they have been on straight water
I have been seeing sevaral large bottles of natural up around here, I thought it was to counter act the EJ nutes that seem to be acidic after long term use
it just bums me, makes me feel incompetent,

human limits and family are the limiting factors really
oh and the fact I cant get plants to flourish right now.....

it is straight stem im rooting. but I do scrape a light abrasion about 1/4 inch on the bottom before root gel dipping
roots tend to grow from wounds, hence the node thingy everyone does
